Kingsyard Tube Bird Feeders 2-Pack, Green Hanging Seed Feeders with 6 Ports & Steel Hanger, Weatherproof Clear Tube

Kingsyard 2 Pack Tube Bird Feeders are weather-resistant hanging seed feeders with six feeding ports and perches designed to attract a variety of wild birds while keeping seed dry and visible.

These two green Kingsyard tube feeders combine a clear, high-capacity seed chamber with a durable plastic body and steel hanger so you can easily suspend them from branches, shepherd’s hooks, or porch eaves. Built-in drainage, a lift-off refill lid, and six perches let several small birds feed at once, and the transparent tube helps you monitor seed levels without removing the unit. They’re suitable for mixed seed, black oil sunflower, nyjer, safflower, and mealworms, making them versatile additions to backyard birding setups.

How do these feeders keep seed fresh and prevent waste?

The Kingsyard feeders use an enclosed seed tube with drainage holes to reduce standing water and slow seed spoilage. The transparent compartment also helps you spot moisture or low seed levels quickly so you can refill or clean as needed.

• Built-in drainage holes evacuate excess water and prevent mold buildup.
• Enclosed housing limits exposure to rain and wind-blown debris.
• Transparent tube makes seed condition and quantity easy to check.

Which bird species will use a six-port tube feeder like this?

These feeders are designed for small to medium backyard species that perch while feeding. With six ports and perches, multiple birds can feed simultaneously—ideal for attracting finches, chickadees, sparrows, titmice, nuthatches, goldfinches, and cardinals depending on your seed choice.

• Works well with mixed seed and black oil sunflower to attract a broad range of species.
• Nyjer or thistle draw finches when used with a small seed insert or fine-seed mix.
• Perches let multiple birds sit and feed without crowding a single opening.

How simple is refilling and cleaning the Kingsyard tube feeders?

Maintenance is straightforward: raise the top lid to refill the generous two-pound capacity tube and remove the feeder for periodic rinsing. The plastic construction wipes clean and the design minimizes seed residue buildup around ports.

• Lift-off top for quick, no-spill refills from most seed bags.
• Transparent tube simplifies checking when to top up.
• Plastic body and drain holes make rinsing and air drying effective.

Where should I hang these feeders for best bird activity?

Place the feeders near natural cover like shrubs or trees so birds feel safe landing, but keep them visible from windows for easy watching. Mount them 4–6 feet off the ground and away from bird predators’ perches to improve bird visitation.

• Hang from branches, shepherd’s hooks, or porch eaves with the included steel hanger.
• Position near shrubs or tree cover but out of reach of cats and squirrels if possible.
• Rotate locations seasonally to reduce parasite buildup under the feeder area.
