Kingsyard 15" Metal Tube Bird Feeder — Weatherproof Hanging Feeder with 6 Ports & Drainage

Kingsyard 15" Metal Tube Bird Feeder is a weatherproof, metal-sealed tube feeder designed for small songbirds to feed safely while keeping seed dry and resisting squirrel damage.

This 15-inch metal tube feeder from Kingsyard pairs a clear seed tube with a robust metal lid, base, and perches to offer an easy-to-maintain feeding station for goldfinches, sparrows, siskins, juncos and other small birds. Thoughtfully engineered drainage, a powder-coated finish, and six feeding ports make it a practical choice for year-round use in gardens, balconies, and patios. The feeder balances visibility—so you can tell when to refill—with protection against rain and chewing pests.

How does the Kingsyard feeder keep seed dry during rain?

The design uses an enclosed seed compartment and an overhanging metal lid to block direct rain entry while allowing air circulation so seed won’t sit wet. Built-in drainage holes in the base quickly remove any water that finds its way inside, helping prevent mold and spoilage.

• Overhanging heavy-duty metal lid that deflects rain
• Enclosed tube prevents direct downpour into seed reservoir
• Base drainage holes for rapid water evacuation
• Powder-coated metal resists corrosion from damp conditions

Which birds will use this 15" tube feeder?

This feeder is sized for small to medium-bodied songbirds; the 1.7-inch perches prioritize species like goldfinches, house finches, juncos, sparrows, and siskins while discouraging larger birds. The six feeding ports allow several birds to feed at once, creating lively visits without crowding.

• Perch diameter and port spacing tuned for small songbirds
• Six ports let groups feed simultaneously
• Design helps reduce access for larger, aggressive birds
• Works well with mixed small-seed blends and nyjer

How easy is it to refill and clean the Kingsyard tube feeder?

Refilling is straightforward thanks to the clear seed tube and lift-off metal lid; you can see levels at a glance and top up quickly. For cleaning, the base detaches with a press-button release so you can empty, rinse, and dry the feeder without tools.

• Transparent tube shows remaining seed volume
• Lift-off lid provides wide refill access
• Removable base with press-button release for fast cleaning
• Metal parts wipe clean and resist chewing by squirrels

Will this feeder stand up to squirrels and long-term outdoor use?

The feeder uses heavy-duty metal for the lid, base, and perches to reduce damage from curious squirrels and birds. A powder-coated finish adds a protective layer against rust, extending the feeder’s usable life through changing seasons.

• Metal lid and base reduce chewing and breakage
• Powder-coated finish for rust resistance
• Sturdy perches designed for frequent use
• Drainage and enclosed tube limit moisture-related wear
