Resin and steel sheds, deck boxes for cushions and toys, vertical tool cabinets, wall racks, hose reels and hideaways, firewood racks with covers and bike storage. Everything in a Canadian yard has to go somewhere from November to April, and that somewhere has to hold a snow load and not crack at minus thirty.

What to look for: a shed with a stated roof snow-load rating and a floor kit or a level gravel base; UV-stabilised resin that names the wall thickness; deck boxes with a gas-strut lid and a lockable hasp; and hose reels you can empty and roll indoors. Check municipal setback rules and whether a permit is needed above a certain footprint (often 10 m²).
