Every listing states sizes, materials and any climate or zone notes we know. If you are unsure, email your city or hardiness zone, the space you have and the product link to canadianlawn.ca@gmail.com and we check it within one business day.

All major credit and debit cards plus the express wallets shown at checkout (Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay where your device supports them). Prices are in Canadian dollars.

Prices are shown before tax. GST, HST, PST or QST is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address, so the total you see before paying is the total you pay.

Email us as soon as possible with your order number. If the order has not shipped we cancel or amend it; if it has already left, follow the 30-day return process once it arrives.

Not through the website. Email us the items and quantities and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Checkout runs on Shopify’s PCI-compliant payment system. We never see or store your full card number.

Yes, by email within a few minutes of ordering. Check your junk folder if it does not arrive, then email us and we will resend it.

Shipping is free and tracked on every order to every Canadian province and territory, with no minimum order.

Most orders are processed within one to two business days and arrive within five to twelve business days. Large items such as furniture sets, sheds and snow blowers ship by freight and can take a few days longer.

Yes, free of charge. Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and remote postal codes can take longer than the estimate; the tracking link shows progress.

Freight items arrive by a carrier who will contact you to arrange a delivery window. Delivery is to the curb or driveway; have a second person ready for heavy boxes.

Photograph the packaging and the item and email us within 48 hours. We send a replacement or refund without asking you to argue with the courier.

Not currently. Canadian Lawn ships to Canadian addresses only.

Usually, but larger orders can arrive in more than one delivery. Each parcel has its own tracking link.

Not for standard parcels. Freight carriers arrange a window with you directly.

You have 30 days from delivery to return any unused item in its original packaging for a refund. Email us with your order number and we send the return instructions the same business day.

If the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, we do. For a change of mind you pay the return shipping; we recommend a tracked service.

We refund within five business days of the item arriving with us, to the original payment method. Your bank may take a further three to five days to show it.

Yes. Tell us what you would like instead and we either swap it or refund and let you reorder, whichever is quicker.

Assembled items can be returned only if faulty or not as described. Please check dimensions and base requirements before assembly; email us if anything is unclear.

Opened seed, fertilizer, soil, chemicals and fuel, and live plants, cannot be returned unless faulty, for safety and biosecurity reasons.

Please keep it for the 30-day window. We accept returns without retail packaging if the item is unused, but boxed items resell better and that keeps prices down for everyone.

Nothing here removes your rights under your province’s consumer protection legislation and the Competition Act: goods must match their description and be fit for their purpose.

Natural Resources Canada publishes the plant hardiness map: most of southern Ontario and the BC coast are zones 5 to 8, the Prairies zones 2 to 4, and Atlantic Canada zones 4 to 6. Your local garden centre or municipality can confirm.

No. In Canada these products need a Health Canada PMRA registration for the Canadian market, so our pest and weed department sticks to traps, barriers, netting, landscape fabric and non-chemical tools. Many provinces and municipalities also ban cosmetic pesticide use on lawns, so check your local bylaw before buying one locally.

Most municipalities allow it under a bylaw that sets size, distance from structures, a spark screen requirement and fire-ban conditions. Some ban wood fires and allow only propane or natural gas. Check your city before you buy.

The most important feed is in early fall (late August to September) with a fall formula; a lighter spring feed after the second mowing. Avoid summer fertilizing in heat and never fertilize frozen ground.

Yes. Everything we sell is new, not used, refurbished or open-box. Each listing names the brand and model, and manufacturer warranties apply as stated in the listing.

Manufacturer warranties apply as stated in each listing, and your provincial consumer rights apply regardless. Email us if something fails and we deal with the manufacturer for you where we can.

Most municipalities exempt sheds under about 10 square metres but still require setbacks from property lines. Larger sheds need a permit. Check your city’s building department before ordering.

Sometimes. Email us the product name or a link and we will tell you within one business day whether we can get it and at what price.
