andergi 13.5" Hummingbird Feeder Rain Guard - 2-Pack Green Shade Dome, Weatherproof Squirrel Deterrent

The andergi 13.5-inch hummingbird feeder rain guard is a weatherproof, petal-shaped umbrella cover that shields nectar ports from rain and deters squirrels while providing a shaded perch for hummingbirds.

Protecting hummingbird feeders from the elements and curious wildlife improves nectar life, reduces maintenance, and helps you enjoy clearer bird-watching sessions. This two-pack of green andergi baffles is molded from durable PP plastic, sized for widespread compatibility, and designed to be easy to install and clean. Below are concise answers to the most common buyer questions about fit, durability, installation, and uses.

Will this rain guard fit my feeder and block squirrel access?

Yes — the guard measures 13.5 inches in diameter and 2.35 inches high, giving broad coverage for many hanging and pole-mounted hummingbird feeders. Its shape limits squirrel reach from above and keeps nectar ports drier during light to moderate rain.

• 13.5" diameter covers typical feeder tops and perches.
• 2.35" height leaves room for hummingbirds while blocking larger pests.
• Petal-shaped edge helps deflect raindrops away from feeding ports.
• Works best with feeders that have top-hanging loops or center poles.

How tough is the PP plastic and how long will it last outdoors?

The andergi guard is made from polypropylene (PP), chosen for weather resistance, impact strength, and UV stability. It resists cracking, fading, and minor gnawing, making it a low-maintenance solution for seasonal and year-round use.

• PP construction resists sun exposure and temperature swings.
• 4 mm thickness offers stiffness against sagging and chews.
• Simple solid molding avoids seams that collect dirt or moisture.
• Wipe clean with mild soap; avoids brittle aging common in thin plastics.

How easy is installation and cleaning?

Installation uses straightforward placement over the feeder’s top or pole; there are no complex fasteners. The guard's smooth surface and minimalist shape make routine cleaning quick, so you can keep nectar fresh and visible to visiting birds.

• Slide over a hanging loop or rest on a center pole—no tools required.
• Removable for quick refill and inspection of the feeder.
• Clean with warm water and mild detergent; rinse thoroughly.
• Lightweight design makes seasonal storage simple.

What benefits do the color and shape provide for hummingbirds?

Bright colors and the umbrella silhouette attract hummingbirds while offering a shady landing area. The design creates a small sheltered space that can make feeding more comfortable and visible for birdwatchers without altering natural bird behavior.

• Green finish blends with garden foliage yet contrasts enough to be noticed by hummingbirds.
• Shaded feeding area reduces direct sun on nectar, slowing spoilage.
• Petal edges provide casual perching points for birds to rest between sips.
• Two-pack allows matching pairs or backups for rotation and cleaning.

It suits people who prefer durable, easy-to-clean accessories and anyone looking for a simple upgrade to extend nectar life and improve backyard bird viewing.
