Amerbro Heat Resistant Mat for Countertop Grill, 25 x 19.5 in, Black — 550°C Protection, Oilproof & Flexible

Amerbro heat resistant mat protects tabletops from high temperatures, spills, and scratches when using tabletop grills and small outdoor ovens.

Designed for portable grills, pizza ovens and compact fire appliances, this 25 x 19.5-inch Amerbro mat combines a fiberglass core with dual-sided silicone resin for durable heat resistance up to 550°C (1022°F). The low-profile 0.6 mm thickness keeps your grill stable while providing a barrier against grease, scorch marks and surface damage. It’s lightweight, flexible and easy to clean, making it a practical addition to backyard barbecues, tailgates, camping trips and indoor countertop use where heat protection is needed.

How does the mat protect my table from heat and stains?

The mat’s fiberglass base plus silicone coating creates a non-flammable layer that resists thermal transfer and blocks grease and spills. Its smooth, oilproof surface prevents liquids from seeping through and makes post-cook cleanup quick.

• Heat resistance rated to 550°C (1022°F) for short exposure periods.
• Dual-sided silicone resin prevents sticking and resists staining.
• Waterproof and oilproof finish wipes clean with a damp cloth or mild soap.
• Finely stitched edges reduce fraying and prolong mat life.

Will this fit my tabletop grill or small pizza oven?

This Amerbro mat measures 25 x 19.5 inches and is intentionally larger than most compact grills to cover the workspace beneath and around the unit. The flexible 0.6 mm thickness lets it sit flat or be trimmed carefully if a custom fit is required.

• Overall size: 25 x 19.5 inches (fits most tabletop grills and small ovens).
• Thin 0.6 mm profile maintains stability for flat-bottomed grills.
• Easily trimmed with scissors for bespoke installations.
• Large coverage area protects adjacent surfaces from splatter and sparks.

How do I clean and store the Amerbro heat resistant mat?

Cleaning takes seconds — wipe away grease and residue with a damp cloth or wash with dish soap and rinse. Once dry, the mat folds compactly for storage without losing its shape or the protective coating.

• Quick wipe-clean surface for routine spills and splashes.
• Dish soap and water remove heavier grease and food residue.
• Dries fast; foldable for compact storage in drawers or bags.
• Does not curl, crack or become sticky after repeated use.

Is it safe to use around open flames or on decks and lawns?

The mat is fire-resistant due to the fiberglass core and silicone coating, but safe placement is essential: maintain clearance between direct flames and the mat to avoid excessive heat buildup. For lawn or deck use, leave at least 10 inches between the heat source and the mat to reduce risk from radiant heat or embers.

• Fiberglass construction and silicone coating increase fire resistance.
• Keep at least 10 inches clearance from open flames or high-intensity heat.
• Not intended as a substitute for a dedicated fireproof base for large fire pits.
• Suitable for indoor countertop grills with normal usage precautions.

Who is this for: The Amerbro heat resistant mat is aimed at anyone who uses compact grills or small ovens and wants to protect countertops, wooden tables, stainless prep stations or picnic surfaces. It’s ideal for homeowners, campers, tailgaters and mobile caterers who need a lightweight, easy-to-clean barrier against heat, grease and abrasion without adding bulk or complexity to their setup.
