Brinman 40" Fire Pit Mat — Round 39.5" Fireproof Deck Protector for Solo Stove, Silicone-Coated & Heat-Resistant

The Brinman 40" Fire Pit Mat is a round, fire-resistant protector designed to sit beneath Solo Stove bonfires, grills and camping stoves to shield decks, patios and grass from embers, grease and spills.

This heavy-duty mat combines a double-sided silicone coating with high-density, fireproof fiberglass to block heat, ash and liquids up to extreme temperatures. Sized at 39.5 inches in diameter, it fits most small-to-medium fire pits and portable grills, offering a portable, easy-to-clean barrier that keeps outdoor surfaces safe and stain-free.

How hot can this mat handle and will it stop embers?

The Brinman mat is built for high-heat resistance using layered fireproof fiberglass and silicone, rated to withstand temperatures far above typical grill and fire pit embers. It prevents stray sparks, falling ash and glowing coals from contacting the deck or lawn below, reducing burn and scorch risks.

• Heat resistance designed for extreme conditions up to high-heat thresholds.
• Dense fiberglass core resists puncture and ember penetration.
• Silicone coating prevents embers from embedding and makes ash removal easier.

Will it protect my deck and stop grease or stains?

The silicone top layer is waterproof and oil-resistant, so sauces and grease bead up instead of soaking through. That barrier avoids discoloration and corrosive damage while the mat’s smooth surface simplifies cleanup after cooking or a bonfire.

• Double-sided silicone prevents oil and liquids from reaching surfaces.
• Non-absorbent finish avoids staining and corrosive wear.
• Slip-resistant texture helps keep the mat and equipment steady.

How do I clean and store the mat after use?

Maintenance is straightforward: rinse with a garden hose, hand-wash with warm soapy water, or vacuum loose ash and dirt. Once dry, the mat rolls or folds for compact storage and is durable enough for repeated outdoor use without losing protective performance.

• Washable surface — hose off ash and food residue quickly.
• Hand-washable with mild soap for deeper cleaning.
• Flexible, portable design stores flat or rolled for travel.

Which grills and outdoor setups is this mat compatible with?

The 39.5-inch round shape fits many portable fire pits and grills, including Solo Stove Bonfire models, charcoal kettles, ceramic egg grills, turkey fryers and electric smokers. It’s intended as a general-purpose protective pad for most backyard and campsite cooking and fire setups.

• Sized for Solo Stove Bonfire and similar round fire pits.
• Works under gas, charcoal, wood-burning and electric grills.
• Suitable for patios, decks, grass and campsite surfaces.

Who is this for? Outdoor cooks and bonfire enthusiasts who want a reliable, portable protector for decks, patios and lawns will appreciate the Brinman 40" Fire Pit Mat. It’s especially useful for homeowners with wood or composite decks, campers who bring portable stoves, and anyone who wants a low-maintenance shield against embers, grease and stains while preserving outdoor surfaces.
