Amerbro Heat Resistant Grill Mat for Countertops — 24 x 48 in Black, 550°C Fireproof Silicone-Coated Fiberglass

Amerbro heat resistant mat is a fireproof, oilproof fiberglass protective liner sized for 24 x 48 inch tabletop grills and countertops, resisting temperatures up to 550°C (1022°F).

This durable grill mat creates a safe, easy-to-clean barrier between hot cookware and your prep surface. Constructed from woven fiberglass and sealed both sides with a high-temperature silicone resin coating, the mat is thin yet resilient (about 1mm / 0.04in thick) and finished with reinforced stitched edges to prevent fraying. Designed to fit full-size tabletop grills, portable charcoal units, pizza ovens, and many small outdoor cooktops, it protects stainless steel, wood, and composite tabletops from heat damage, spills, grease, and scratches.

How does this mat protect my table from heat and stains?

The Amerbro mat blocks direct heat transfer and creates a barrier against oils and food spills so surfaces stay unscorched and cleaner. Its silicone coating repels grease and liquids while the fiberglass core provides thermal insulation at very high temperatures.

• Withstands up to 550°C (1022°F) without warping or melting
• Oilproof, waterproof surface wipes clean with a damp cloth or mild detergent
• Reinforced stitched edges reduce curling, tearing, and fraying
• Thin 1mm profile fits under grills without raising height or affecting stability

Will it fit my tabletop grill and other small cooking gear?

The mat measures 24 x 48 inches, matching common tabletop grill footprints so it sits neatly under many portable grills and small ovens. Its flexible construction conforms to different table shapes while remaining stable under weight.

• Ideal for 24 x 48 inch outdoor grill tables and most portable grills
• Works with small charcoal grills, tabletop electric grills, and pizza ovens
• Flexible enough for rounded or slightly uneven surfaces without tearing
• Foldable for compact storage when not in use

How do I clean and store the mat after a barbecue?

Cleanup is quick: the smooth silicone top resists sticking, so grease and food residue wipe away easily. For deeper cleaning, wash with warm water and dish soap, rinse, let dry, then fold or roll for storage.

• Wipe spills with a damp cloth for routine maintenance
• Hand-washable with mild detergent for heavier soiling
• Dries flat or hung; then fold or roll to save space
• Durable stitched border stays intact after repeated cleaning

Are there any safety or placement recommendations?

The mat is fire-resistant but not a substitute for safe clearance and supervision. Keep it positioned so intense open flames don’t contact the mat directly, and maintain recommended clearances when used near lawn or decking surfaces.

• Keep at least 10 inches clearance from direct fire sources on lawns or decks
• Do not use as a direct replacement for a dedicated fireproof pad under active open flames
• Inspect mat for damage before each use; replace if cuts or deep burns appear
• Use on stable, level surfaces to avoid grill tipping

Who is this for: Amerbro's 24 x 48 inch heat resistant mat is aimed at outdoor cooks, tailgaters, and apartment grillers who need a compact, reliable surface protector. It suits anyone wanting to protect stainless steel prep tables, wood picnic tables, or indoor countertops from heat and mess without adding bulk — especially owners of tabletop grills, small charcoal units, portable pizza ovens, and electric cooktops looking for an easy-clean, reusable barrier.
