ZY-hosetube 1/2" ID x 50ft Black Vinyl Tubing PVC Irrigation Hose with 2 Clamps — Flexible, Kink-Resistant, 60 PSI

ZY-hosetube 1/2" ID x 50ft black vinyl tubing is a flexible, kink-resistant PVC irrigation hose supplied with two stainless-like clamps for secure low-pressure water and air lines.

This 50-foot coil of durable black PVC tubing is built for general irrigation, aquarium, hydroponic, and light industrial transfer tasks where a reliable, easy-to-handle hose is needed. With a 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) inner diameter and a 5/8 inch outer diameter, the tube balances flow capacity with flexibility. Its 1/16 inch wall thickness and 73A hardness make the line sturdy enough to resist kinks while remaining simple to bend, cut, and route through tight spaces. Included clamps help create leak-resistant connections for low-pressure setups up to 60 PSI.

How tough is this tubing for outdoor and indoor use?

The material is formulated to resist wear, aging, and many common acids and alkalis, so it handles routine outdoor exposure and indoor utility work without rapid degradation. It’s rated for working temperatures between 23°F and 149°F (-5°C to 65°C), covering most seasonal environments except extreme freezing or high-heat industrial conditions.

• 50 feet length for long runs or multiple short feeds
• Works from -5°C to 65°C (23°F–149°F)
• Chemical resistance to common acids and alkalis
• Hardness 73A for a balance of flexibility and firmness

Will this hose kink or block flow when bent around corners?

Designed with thicker walls and a flexible PVC compound, the tubing resists kinking better than lightweight plastic hoses. The smooth interior supports consistent flow and is easy to flush when cleaning is needed.

• Thick 1/16" walls reduce collapse under bends
• Smooth interior minimizes debris accumulation
• Maintains flow at typical low-pressure irrigation rates
• Coils neatly for storage without permanent deformation

What fittings and pressure should I use with this line?

Use fittings sized for a 1/2" inner diameter or barbed fittings that match the 5/8" OD for a snug fit. The tubing is intended for low-pressure systems; maximum recommended working pressure is 60 PSI. The included two clamps secure connections for common garden, aquarium, and pump applications.

• Inner diameter: 1/2" (12.7 mm) — select compatible inserts
• Outer diameter: 5/8" — helps choose barbed fittings and adapters
• Max working pressure: 60 PSI for low-pressure use
• Two clamps included for leak reduction on typical fittings

How easy is it to cut, shape, and store this tubing?

The tubing is lightweight and easy to manipulate for DIY installations. It can be trimmed with standard cutting tools, bent to follow routes, and re-coiled for transport or off-season storage without losing shape.

• Cuttable with utility knives, tubing cutters, or scissors
• Coils compactly for storage and shipping
• Flexible enough for tight routing yet firm enough to hold bends
• Resists repeated handling and installation wear

Who is this for: ZY-hosetube 1/2" x 50ft black vinyl tubing suits gardeners setting up drip irrigation, aquarium and aquaponics hobbyists, small-scale hydroponic growers, DIYers plumbing low-pressure pump lines, and light industrial uses that need a flexible, chemical-resistant transfer line. It’s ideal when you need a balance of flow capacity, kink resistance, and easy installation, plus two clamps for immediate connections.
