Yowlieu Clear Greenhouse Plastic Sheeting 6 mil 6.5'x9.8' UV-Resistant, Anti-Drip Polyethylene Cover for Hoop Houses

Yowlieu 6 mil clear greenhouse plastic sheeting is a durable, UV-stabilized polyethylene cover sized 6.5' x 9.8' designed to protect plants and extend growing seasons in hoop houses, grow tunnels, and small greenhouses.

This transparent polyethylene film combines tear resistance, UV additives, and an anti-drip finish to create a stable, light-transmitting shelter for seedlings, vegetables, and landscape projects. Cut to fit, easy to install and resilient in changing weather, the sheet balances protection and visibility so you can monitor plants without removing the cover.

How does this plastic sheeting keep a hoop house functional?

The 6 mil thickness gives a rigid-but-flexible cover that resists punctures while conforming to hoops and frames. UV stabilizers slow sun damage so the film stays serviceable longer, and the anti-drip treatment reduces internal condensation that can harm young plants.

• 6 mil polyethylene for strength and flexibility
• UV-resistant additives to extend usable life outdoors
• Anti-drip surface keeps moisture from forming falling droplets
• Clear finish allows visual inspection without opening the cover

Will it let enough light through for healthy plant growth?

The clear film is engineered for high light transmission and even diffusion, so sunlight distributes across the growing area rather than creating hot spots. That consistent illumination helps maintain temperature and supports photosynthesis for seedlings and mature plants alike.

• Transparent material for maximum natural light entry
• Even light diffusion to reduce localized overheating
• Visibility lets you check plant condition through the cover
• Suitable for a variety of crops, from seedlings to vegetables

How do I install and size this greenhouse film?

The sheet arrives unfolded and is pliable enough to drape over frames, tunnels, or temporary structures. Because the film can be cut to fit, it adapts to different hoop house types and can be secured with clamps, wiggle wire, battens, or staple and wooden trim for a snug fit.

• Dimensions: 6.5 feet wide by 9.8 feet long — trim to fit
• Simple drape-and-secure installation on hoop frames
• Works with clamps, battens, or staple trim systems
• Can be overlapped for larger spans or longer tunnels

What weather can this cover withstand?

Designed for agricultural and garden use, the film protects against sun, wind-driven rain, light frost and cold snaps while moderating interior conditions. It is not a structural roofing material, so heavy snow loads or prolonged gale-force winds require additional bracing or removal.

• UV protection to reduce sun degradation
• Shields plants from rain, light frost, and wind spray
• Not intended for heavy snow loads without support
• Useful for seasonal protection, propagation, and row covers

Who is this for? Yowlieu's 6 mil greenhouse plastic is aimed at gardeners, small-scale farmers, landscapers, and hobby growers who need an economical, transparent cover for hoop houses, mini-greenhouses, or grow tunnels. If you want a cut-to-size polyethylene sheet that combines visibility, tear resistance and weather protection for seasonal growing or temporary shelter, this film is a practical choice.
