Pond Worx Pond Bacteria Concentrate Gallon — Koi-Safe for Large Ponds & Water Features

PondWorx Pond Bacteria Gallon is a concentrated, koi-safe biological treatment that jump-starts natural bacteria to clarify water and support a balanced pond ecosystem.

Designed for larger ponds, water gardens and decorative water features, this one-gallon concentrate supplies live, beneficial bacteria that begin working on contact to reduce organic waste and improve water clarity. The formula is safe for fish, plants and wildlife when used as directed, and it’s intended to integrate with other PondWorx products for ongoing pond management. Easy to apply, the product requires simply pouring along the shoreline for even distribution.

How quickly will I see changes after I apply PondWorx Pond Bacteria?

Visible improvement depends on pond size and existing conditions, but the bacteria start establishing themselves immediately and can reduce surface scum and murkiness within days. Expect gradual improvement in odors and clarity as organic matter is broken down over several treatments.

• Immediately: bacteria activate on contact to begin consuming waste.
• Within days: reduction in surface buildup and some clarity gains.
• Over weeks: sustained improvement in water quality with repeated use.

Will this product harm koi, plants, or wildlife in my pond?

PondWorx Pond Bacteria is formulated to be safe for fish, aquatic plants and wildlife when applied according to the directions. It does not contain harsh chemicals; instead it supplements the pond’s natural microbial community to process organic debris more efficiently.

• No chemicals that stress fish when used as directed.
• Safe for vegetation and surrounding wildlife habitats.
• Compatible with recreational use, fishing and swimming immediately after application.

How do I apply the gallon concentrate for best results?

Application is simple: pour the product directly from the container at several shoreline points to disperse bacteria evenly. For larger ponds, split the dose across multiple access points to promote uniform distribution and faster colonization.

• Pour along the shoreline in several locations for even spreading.
• Frequency depends on pond load — follow label guidelines for dosing intervals.
• Works well with other PondWorx treatments for ongoing maintenance.

Can I use this in different types of water features?

Yes — the formulation is suitable for large garden ponds, koi ponds, decorative water features and similar bodies of water. It’s concentrated to treat larger volumes while remaining gentle enough for ornamentals and stocked fish populations.

• Effective for large ponds and water gardens.
• Safe for koi and other ornamental fish species.
• Compatible with pond ecosystems and routine maintenance products.
