PIHIL 7.75ft Heavy Duty Porch Swing Chain Kit — 2-Pack 304 Stainless, Galvanized, 800 lb Capacity

PIHIL 7.75FT Heavy Duty Porch Swing Chain Kit is a two-pack hanging kit made from 304 stainless steel with galvanized finish, adjustable length, and an 800 lb combined support rating for porch swings, hanging chairs, and benches.

This double kit supplies everything needed to hang two outdoor seats or a wide bench safely: two Y-shaped 7.75 ft chains, screw-in ceiling hooks, and locking carabiners. Built from corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel with a protective galvanized coating, the chains resist rust and weathering so they stay functional season after season. The adjustable design and included hardware make installation straightforward for common porch ceiling heights.

How durable is the PIHIL porch swing chain for long-term outdoor use?

The kit uses 304 stainless steel construction plus a galvanized finish to deter rust and corrosion in outdoor environments. Each Y-shaped assembly and the hardware are designed for repeated use and exposure to sun and rain without rapid deterioration.

• Material: 304 stainless steel for core corrosion resistance
• Finish: Galvanized coating adds extra weather protection
• Load capacity: Built to support up to 800 lbs total
• Welded links: Upgraded welded chain design for stronger joints

How does the adjustable length system work for different ceiling heights?

The chains measure 7.75 feet and are intended for 8–9 ft ceiling heights when hung as Y-shaped supports; metal carabiners with locking nuts allow the effective hanging length to be shortened or secured precisely. Adjustment is tool-friendly and locks in place so swings hang level and at a comfortable height.

• Length: 7.75 ft nominal chain length per assembly
• Adjustment: Metal carabiners with locking nuts for secure length changes
• Compatibility: Suited to 8–9 ft porch or ceiling heights
• Balance: Y-shaped configuration improves seat stability

What hardware comes in the package and is installation difficult?

The kit arrives complete with two Y-shaped swing chains, two screw-in ceiling hooks, and two carabiners with locking nuts, so you'll have the main components to hang two seats or one wide bench. Installation requires basic tools and common sense: pre-drill for the screw-in hooks into a structural ceiling member and secure the carabiners to the swing’s eye bolts or hanging points.

• Included: Two Y-chains, two screw-in ceiling hooks, two locking carabiners
• Tools suggested: Drill, appropriate pilot bit, wrench for locking nuts
• Mount point: Screw-in hooks must go into a joist or beam (not only drywall)
• Time: Typical install in under an hour per seat for one installer

What seating types and weights is this chain kit suitable for?

This heavy-duty kit supports a range of outdoor seating: porch swings, bench swings, hanging chairs, and many play-set styles. The combined rated capacity and robust links make it suitable for adults, children, and typical multi-person bench swings when mounted correctly.

• Seats: Porch swings, hanging chairs, bench swings, playground seats
• Capacity: Designed to support up to 800 lbs when installed properly
• Versatility: Works with eye bolts, chain hangers, and many swing frames
• Use case: Residential porches, patios, and covered decks
