Ten premium Noni Tree (Morinda citrifolia) seeds in a paper seed envelope for home growers and tropical plant collectors.

These seeds arrive packaged by Palm Beach Medicinal Herbs and are intended for gardeners seeking to add a tropical evergreen with glossy leaves, fragrant white blossoms, and distinctive bumpy fruit to their collection. Noni (Morinda citrifolia) is widely grown across Polynesia, Hawaii, and other warm regions; the packet contains ten seeds with basic germination guidance printed on each envelope to help you start young trees for containers or frost-free gardens.

How should I start Noni seeds for reliable germination?

Begin by soaking seeds briefly, then plant in a well-draining seed mix kept consistently warm and moist. Noni seeds germinate best with consistent warmth, bright indirect light, and protection from drying out; expect first sprouts in one to several weeks depending on conditions.

• Soak seeds 12–24 hours before planting to soften the coat.
• Sow 1⁄4–1⁄2 inch deep in sterile, evenly moist seed-starting mix.
• Maintain soil temperature around 75–85°F (24–29°C) using a heat mat if needed.
• Provide bright, indirect light until true leaves form; avoid direct midday sun on seedlings.

What climate and placement does a Noni tree prefer?

Noni is best suited to warm, humid, frost-free climates such as USDA zones 11–12, but it can be grown in containers and moved indoors in cooler areas. The tree thrives in full sun to light shade and needs regular water while establishing; choose a sunny patio, sunroom, or bright windowsill for container cultivation.

• Outdoor zones: USDA 11–12 for year-round planting.
• Container option: grow in large pots and bring inside when temperatures drop.
• Light: full sun to partial shade—more sun encourages flowering and fruiting.
• Water: keep soil evenly moist but well drained; avoid waterlogged roots.

What can I do with Noni once it matures?

Mature Noni trees offer ornamental structure, fragrant flowers, and bumpy fruit that many gardeners harvest for traditional uses such as juices, teas, or natural dyes. While cultivation practices vary by region, the tree adds a tropical accent to landscapes and containers and supports cultural and DIY projects.

• Ornamental use: glossy foliage and scented blooms create a tropical focal point.
• Harvest: fruit and leaves are used in traditional preparations and craft dyes.
• Container-friendly: suitable for patios and sunrooms when pruned and potted properly.
• Propagation: grown from seed for unique genetic diversity and heritage varieties.
