Nite Ize Gear Tie 12-inch Reusable Rubber Twist Ties, 12-Pack Black — Bendable Wire & Secure Grip

Nite Ize Gear Tie Original ProPacks are reusable 12" rubber-coated twist ties with a bendable wire core designed to bundle, secure, and organize gear indoors or outdoors.

These 12" Gear Ties from Nite Ize combine a flexible metal wire core with a durable rubber exterior to create a reliable, reusable alternative to disposable cable ties. Built for everyday organization and outdoor use, the black 12-pack fits tasks from coiling extension cords to fastening camping equipment. They keep items tidy without damaging surfaces or requiring cutting tools to remove, making them a practical choice for workshops, home offices, garages, and travel kits.

How do these Gear Ties hold items securely without slipping?

The twistable wire core retains whatever shape you form, and the tacky rubber jacket increases friction against surfaces so bundled items stay in place. The combination prevents sliding and loosening under normal loads while allowing repeated reshaping.

• Bendable metal core preserves twists and loops for a lasting hold.
• Rubber exterior adds grip and resists abrasion on cables and fabrics.
• Reusable design eliminates the need to cut and replace ties.
• 12" length provides ample wrap for medium-sized cords, hoses, and straps.

What environments can the 12" Gear Ties be used in?

These Gear Ties are designed for indoor and outdoor use; the rubber shell sheds water and resists everyday wear, and the wire core stays shapeable through temperature changes typical for camping, garage storage, or household use.

• Waterproof rubber jacket holds up in damp or rainy conditions.
• Abrasion-resistant surface prevents quick wear in high-traffic areas.
• Performs for electronics organization, camping setups, and garden tools.
• Works across a range of temperatures without becoming brittle.

How do I use Gear Ties for cable management and quick fixes?

Wrap the Gear Tie around cords or items, twist to secure, and tuck the end if you want a low-profile finish. They’re simple to reposition — just straighten the tie and reshape it for a new task.

• Bundle power strips, phone chargers, and HDMI cables neatly behind desks.
• Bundle hoses or secure tent poles while camping for faster setup and teardown.
• Use as temporary fasteners for DIY projects, signage, or lightweight repairs.
• Label cables by adding tags or colored ties to create quick identification.

How durable are these twist ties for repeated use?

The Gear Ties are built to be reused many times: the internal wire resists metal fatigue from routine bends, and the rubber jacket protects against nicks and exposure. They’ll hold up under everyday wear better than single-use plastic ties.

• Heavy-duty construction resists tearing and surface damage.
• Rubber coating protects wrapped items from scratches.
• Maintains functionality after many twist-and-release cycles.
• 12-pack gives spare ties for rotation and longer lifecycle.

Who is this for? These Nite Ize 12" Gear Tie Original ProPacks are ideal for homeowners, electricians, campers, photographers, and anyone who needs a durable, reusable fastening solution. If you want an eco-friendlier alternative to disposable cable ties that’s easy to use, weather-resistant, and gentle on cords and surfaces, this 12-pack in black offers versatile, everyday utility.
