Nilight Forged Bolt-On Tow Hooks 2-Pack — 10,000 lb Break Strength, Black Powder-Coat

Nilight bolt-on tow hooks are a two-piece forged steel recovery solution rated for a 10,000 lb break strength and designed for easy mounting on most pickups and SUVs.

These Nilight 2-pack bolt-on tow hooks come with the fasteners and spring clips needed for installation, offering a compact, durable attachment point for recovery straps, snatch straps, or straight-line pulls. Built from heat-treated forged steel and finished with a protective powder coat, they balance high tensile strength with long-term corrosion resistance so they perform reliably on the trail, road, or worksite.

How strong are these tow hooks and what load should I pull?

The hooks are forged and heat-treated to deliver a breaking strength up to 10,000 pounds while the recommended working load is approximately 3,500 pounds. That means they can safely handle typical vehicle recoveries and towing tasks within the advised limit, with a large safety margin before ultimate failure.

• Breaking strength: 10,000 lbs (ultimate failure threshold)
• Recommended working pull: up to 3,500 lbs
• Forged, heat-treated steel construction for consistent load capacity
• Includes bolts, nuts, washers and spring clip for secure attachment

What vehicles and mounting locations are compatible with these hooks?

These bolt-on hooks are designed for universal mounting on solid bumper sections, frame plates, or other secure structures found on Jeeps, Ford, Dodge, Chevy, GMC, Toyota pickups and many SUVs. Their compact design fits common mounting points, but always verify bolt spacing and structural strength of your mounting location before installation.

• Compatible with many trucks, SUVs and off-road bumpers
• Mounts to bumper, frame plate, or other solid structure
• Supplied hardware simplifies bolting to existing holes or plates
• Check vehicle manufacturer guidance and bolt pattern fitment

How durable is the finish and will it resist corrosion?

Nilight applies a robust powder-coat finish to the tow hooks to protect the metal from moisture, road salts, and dirt. The coating helps prevent rust and abrasion during regular use, keeping the hooks serviceable in varied weather and seasonal conditions.

• Durable powder-coat surface for rust and chip resistance
• Resists rain, snow, road salt and mud exposure
• Finish extends product life with regular cleaning and inspection
• Inspect coating after heavy use and touch up if needed

How easy is installation and what hardware is included?

Installation is straightforward: the hooks are supplied as a two-piece set with matching bolts, nuts, washers and spring clips so you have everything required to secure them to an appropriate mounting point. Basic hand tools are sufficient, but ensure fasteners are torqued to appropriate specifications for safety.

• Includes bolts, nuts, washers and spring clips for each hook
• Simple bolt-on installation with common hand tools
• Quick to fit to existing bumper or frame mounting locations
• Verify torque specs and check hardware periodically

Who is this for? These Nilight bolt-on tow hooks suit off-road enthusiasts, pickup owners, fleet or agricultural users, and anyone who needs a dependable, compact recovery point. They are ideal when you want a durable, easy-to-install tow attachment rated for repeated use, as long as you follow the recommended working load, verify proper mounting, and maintain the coated finish for long-term performance.
