Wellmax 1/2" Hitch Pin Clevis Set, Red 2-Pack — 3-5/8" & 4" Shanks, Rubber-Grip & R Clips

Wellmax 1/2" Hitch Pin 2-pack is a durable, zinc-plated clevis pin set with rubber-coated grips and included R clips for secure, easy towing connections.

These clevis-style hitch pins are made for everyday towing and light agricultural work where a reliable 1/2" pin is required. The set contains two pins with different shank lengths—3-5/8" and 4"—so you can match the pin to the receiver gap without improvising. Each pin features a rubber-coated vinyl grip for comfortable handling and corrosion-resistant zinc plating to extend service life in outdoor conditions. Four included R clips lock the pins in place quickly, giving a straightforward, time-saving alternative to cotter pins or threaded fasteners.

How do these pins make connecting trailers or implements easier?

The rubber-coated grips let you insert and remove pins with less effort, even when wearing gloves or working in cold weather. The two shank lengths provide flexibility so you don’t have to force a wrong-size pin or carry multiple mismatched parts. With R clips included, you have everything needed for a secure hitch in one small kit.

• Two shank lengths: 3-5/8" and 4" to fit common receiver gaps
• Rubber-coated vinyl grips for easier handling and better leverage
• Four R clips provide quick, tool-free locking

Will these pins resist rust and regular outdoor use?

Yes — the pins are zinc-plated to help resist rust and deterioration from moisture and road salts. Zinc plating is a standard, cost-effective finish that protects the steel core during normal outdoor exposure. Still, periodic inspection and cleaning are recommended for coastal or heavy-salt environments to maximize lifespan.

• Zinc-plated finish for corrosion resistance
• Steel core for strength under towing loads
• Wipe clean after exposure to salt or mud to prolong life

What towing setups and vehicles are these pins compatible with?

The set is designed for any application that accepts a 1/2" diameter clevis pin—common on small trailers, garden tractors, lawn equipment, and light-duty agricultural implements. The two included lengths let you adapt to different tongue and hitch receiver thicknesses without replacing the entire pin. They are not intended for heavy-commercial towing where manufacturer-specified fasteners are required.

• Fits receivers and implements requiring 1/2" diameter pins
• Useful for trailers, garden tractors, ATV/tow attachments, and hobby farm equipment
• Not recommended for rated heavy-commercial towing applications

How do the included R clips improve safety and convenience?

R clips are fast, tool-free retainers that slide into the pin’s cross hole to prevent accidental withdrawal during use. They stay in place under vibration yet are simple to remove when you need to disconnect. These clips make swapouts and hitching chores quicker while reducing the risk of losing a pin in the field.

• Quick installation: push R clip through cross hole
• Holds securely under vibration and normal towing conditions
• Easy removal for fast hitch changes or storage

Who is this for? This Wellmax 1/2" hitch pin set is ideal for homeowners, landscapers, small-farm operators, and anyone who regularly attaches trailers or implements to garden tractors, ATVs, or light-duty vehicles. If you need a basic, reliable pin with comfortable grips, two length options, and quick-lock R clips in one compact kit, this set offers practical versatility and corrosion-resistant construction for everyday use.
