Whether you want a kitchen windowsill of fresh basil for pasta or a small collection of fragrant herbs for teas and seasoning, this all-in-one kit supplies the basics to go from seed to sprig. The set bundles ten popular herb seeds with planting pots, drainage trays, compressed soil, labeled markers, and simple tools so beginners can start an indoor micro-garden without hunting for parts.

What herbs are included and why those varieties?

The Meekear kit contains seeds for chamomile, basil, parsley, rosemary, thyme, lavender, chives, cilantro, sage, and dill—herbs chosen for culinary, aromatic and easy indoor growth. These varieties offer a mix of fresh-cooking staples and fragrant plants suited to pots on a bright windowsill.

• Chamomile: soothing flowers for herbal tea blends.
• Basil & parsley: kitchen essentials for sauces and salads.
• Rosemary & thyme: hardy, low-maintenance culinary herbs.
• Lavender & chamomile: aromatic choices for scent and relaxation.
• Chives, cilantro, sage, dill: versatile for fresh garnishes and cooking.

How easy is potting and daily care with this kit?

The kit is designed for simplicity: compressed soil discs expand with water, the self-watering pots reduce over- and under-watering, and clear markers help you track seedlings. The included watering bottle and mini pruner make routine care straightforward for first-time gardeners.

• 4 compressed soil discs expand about tenfold when hydrated for immediate use.
• 10 plastic pots with drip trays provide a self-watering setup to protect roots from drying.
• Small watering bottle allows gentle, direct watering for seedlings.
• Mini metal pruner clips small harvests and keeps growth tidy.

What supplies and quantities are included in the box?

This starter set bundles everything needed to begin planting ten herbs and to maintain them through early growth. The package centers on convenience so you do not have to assemble separate accessories.

• 10 different herb seed packets — one for each selected herb.
• 10 matching white plastic pots and 10 drip trays for tidy indoor display.
• 10 plant markers to identify each variety and record planting dates.
• 4 soil discs (compressed), 1 small watering bottle, 1 mini metal pruner, and a detailed growing guide.

Where should I place the pots and when to transplant?

Place the pots on a sunny windowsill or bright spot that receives several hours of indirect sunlight each day. Once seedlings reach 2–3 inches tall or root-bound in their plastic pots, transplant them to larger containers or a garden bed for continued growth.

• Bright, indirect light is ideal; some herbs tolerate direct morning sun.
• Keep consistent moisture in the self-watering trays, avoiding waterlogged soil.
• Move herbs to larger pots when plants measure about 2–3 inches or show dense roots.
• Use the markers to note transplant dates and watering schedules.

Who is this for: This Meekear kit is aimed at beginners, apartment dwellers, busy cooks and gift-givers who want a low-fuss route to fresh herbs. It suits anyone who values an organized starter set with labeled pots and built-in watering help—perfect for new gardeners, people with limited outdoor space, or families looking for an easy indoor gardening project.
