NatureZ Edge Catnip Seeds for Planting — 6.5 g (11,000+ Seeds), Non-GMO Indoor/Outdoor Grow Mix

NatureZ Edge Catnip Seeds are a generous 6.5-gram, non-GMO seed pack containing over 11,000 seeds formulated for easy indoor or outdoor planting so you can grow aromatic catnip your cat will enjoy.

Whether you want a dedicated catnip patch, potted plants by the window, or DIY cat toys from home-grown leaves, this NatureZ Edge seed pack gives you the volume and freshness to cultivate thriving Nepeta cataria plants. The seeds are freshly harvested, hand-packed, and stored in climate-controlled conditions to preserve germination potential, making them suitable for hobby gardeners and cat lovers who prefer to grow their own cat-friendly herbs.

How easy is it to start catnip from these seeds?

Starting catnip from NatureZ Edge seeds is straightforward for beginners and experienced gardeners alike. Seeds can be sown directly outdoors after frost risk passes or started indoors to extend the growing season. Germination is improved by keeping the soil consistently moist and providing bright light.

• Sow shallowly: 1/8 inch depth for best emergence
• Soil: well-draining, moderately fertile potting mix
• Light: full sun to partial shade; 4–6 hours sunlight daily
• Water: keep soil evenly moist until established

What can I expect from plant size and harvest frequency?

NatureZ Edge catnip plants typically form bushy mounds that reach moderate height, offering multiple harvest opportunities through the season. Regular trimming encourages fuller growth and more leaf production, and leaves can be harvested once plants have several sets of true leaves.

• Typical height: 1–3 feet when mature, depending on conditions
• First harvest: usually 6–8 weeks after germination
• Repeat harvests: trim every few weeks to stimulate new growth
• Drying: air-dry leaves for homemade toys or storage

Are these seeds suitable for indoor containers and small spaces?

Yes—the large seed count and vigorous genetics make these seeds ideal for containers, windowsill planters, and compact gardens. Container-grown catnip adapts well to limited space but benefits from regular pruning and repotting into slightly larger pots as roots fill the container.

• Use pots 8–12 inches for single plants or larger for multiple crowns
• Ensure drainage holes and a light, airy potting mix
• Place near a sunny window or provide supplemental grow light
• Rotate pots occasionally for even growth
