JRAVPXEQ Artificial Grass Chicken Nesting Pads 8-Pack, Green 12.2x12.2 in Washable Non-Slip Egg Protection

JRAVPXEQ 8-pack reusable artificial grass nesting pads are washable, thin-profile mats designed to protect nesting boxes, keep eggs cleaner, and reduce daily coop maintenance.

These 12.2 x 12.2 inch, 1‑inch thick green mats give poultry keepers a low-cost, reusable alternative to disposable liners. Built with synthetic grass on one side and a non-slip rubber backing on the other, they are intended primarily for coop decoration, floor protection, and creating a comfortable surface for hens to lay and scratch on. They are lightweight, cuttable for custom fits, and rinse-cleanable for repeated use.

How do these pads help keep nesting boxes tidy?

The synthetic grass surface captures loose straw and droppings while providing a softer landing for eggs compared with bare wood or wire. Because the pads are washable and shed-resistant after initial cleaning, you can quickly rinse and air-dry them instead of replacing single-use liners.

• Collects debris and reduces direct contact between eggs and coop floor
• Washable design lets you reuse instead of discard
• Low-profile 1" thickness keeps eggs stable without adding bulk

Will the pads stay in place when hens scratch?

The underside features a textured rubber layer with good tenacity to resist slipping and shifting under normal hen activity. This grip helps the mat remain positioned in nesting boxes and coop areas, cutting down on time spent re-setting bedding.

• Non-slip rubber backing reduces movement from scratching
• Thin profile avoids blocking coop doors or obstructing cleaning
• Durable enough for regular scratching and light pecking

How do I clean and maintain these artificial grass pads?

Maintenance is simple: shake off loose fibers on arrival, rinse with water when soiled, and allow to air dry. These mats are not a heavy carpet material, so they dry quickly and are ready for reuse after routine cleaning.

• Shake off loose fibers after unboxing; this is normal
• Rinse with a hose or wash basin and hang to air dry
• Designed for repeated use—no special cleaners required

Can I use these mats for other purposes around the farm?

Yes—besides nesting boxes, their breathable synthetic grass look and cuttable format make them useful for coop flooring, chick play areas, pet spaces, or decorative touches. Their green color blends with outdoor or rustic interiors while providing practical protection.

• Cuttable to custom shapes for trays, shelves, or runners
• Useful for chick playpens, pet beds, or decorative zones
• Air-permeable design helps surface ventilation
