IWNTWY Bird Feeder Copper-Plated Weatherproof Hanging Seed Feeder, 3 lb Capacity, Acrylic Windows

IWNTWY Bird Feeder is a weatherproof, house-shaped hanging seed feeder made from copper-plated metal with acrylic windows, designed to hold about 3 pounds of seed and protect feed from rain.

This retro-style garden feeder combines a decorative country-house silhouette with practical weather resistance and easy maintenance. Built from copper-plated iron and clear acrylic window inserts, it keeps seed drier than open trays while offering a roomy interior that minimizes refill frequency. The design balances vintage curb appeal with modern rust protection so you can attract songbirds to your yard with less upkeep.

How does the design keep birdseed dry in bad weather?

The IWNTWY feeder uses acrylic panels set inside the window openings and a peaked roof to shield seed from wind-driven rain. A drainage system in the bottom tray allows any water that enters to escape quickly, preventing soggy seed.

• Acrylic window inserts block sideways rain while allowing birds to access seed.
• Peaked, copper-plated roof sheds water and resists corrosion.
• Four drainage holes in the lower tray remove accumulated water fast.
• Anti-rust surface finish extends outdoor life in varied climates.

How much seed does it hold, and how easy is it to refill?

This model holds up to roughly 3 pounds of mixed seed in its 7.3" × 7.3" × 9" interior, reducing how often you need to top it up. The large top opening gives straightforward access for refills and for cleaning tools, making maintenance quick.

• Large-capacity interior reduces refill frequency for busy gardeners.
• Wide top access speeds filling and lets brushes reach inside for cleaning.
• Clear acrylic sides help you monitor seed levels at a glance.

What materials and finishes make it durable outdoors?

The feeder is crafted from iron with a copper-plated finish and features acrylic window panels that resist moisture. The metal is treated with an anti-corrosion coating so the structure remains sturdy and visually appealing season after season.

• Copper-plated iron body for a vintage bronze look and extra strength.
• Acrylic glazing protects seed from rain while keeping visibility.
• Anti-rust coating prevents premature corrosion in outdoor conditions.

Where can I hang the feeder, and what birds will use it?

The compact house-shape suits porches, patios, yards, and garden branches; it’s light enough to suspend from hooks or shepherd’s crooks. Its tray-style access and roomy interior attract a variety of wild birds, especially small to medium seed-eating species common to suburban and rural areas.

• Hangs from trees, porches, brackets, or garden poles for flexible placement.
• Suitable for finches, sparrows, chickadees, and similar backyard visitors.
• Visible design also doubles as a decorative focal point in outdoor spaces.

Who is this for: The IWNTWY house-shaped waterproof bird feeder is ideal for bird lovers who want a decorative yet practical feeder that requires less frequent refilling and holds up to rainy weather. It suits homeowners and gardeners who prefer a vintage aesthetic, value easy cleaning and visibility of seed levels, and want a durable, rust-resistant feeder that fits on a porch, pole, or tree branch.
