INSISART Whiskey Smoker Wood Chips — 6 Flavors, Natural Hardwood for Cocktails & Cooking

These assorted wood chips—apple, cherry, oak, pear, peach and hickory—are made from all-natural hardwood with no added chemicals or preservatives. Packaged as a versatile bar and kitchen accessory, the set is intended for home mixology, food smoking, and gifting to whiskey and cocktail enthusiasts. Each flavor brings a distinct scent profile so you can experiment with subtle sweet notes, fruity undertones, or bold savory smoke across drinks and dishes.

How do these wood chips change the flavor of cocktails and spirits?

When briefly smoked over a flame or used with a smoker gun, these chips impart concentrated aromatics and a layered smoky finish to drinks. The smoke clings to glassware and liquor, heightening the nose and making familiar cocktails taste deeper without diluting them.

• Apple: soft, sweet fruitiness that complements bourbon and rye.
• Cherry: bright, tangy smoke for balanced sweetness in cocktails.
• Oak: classic, rounded smoke ideal for whiskey-forward drinks.
• Pear & Peach: delicate stone-fruit notes that add floral sweetness.
• Hickory: robust, savory smoke for bolder spirit pairings.

What are safe, effective ways to use these chips at home?

These chips are designed for simple, controlled smoking with minimal equipment. Use a handheld smoker gun, a small smoking dome, or a quick torch-and-tin method to generate smoke, then capture it under a glass or cloche to infuse drinks or food.

• Place a small pinch on foil and ignite briefly, then cover glass to trap smoke.
• Use a smoking gun to direct smoke through a cocktail shaker or cloche for cleaner results.
• Add chips to a smoker or grill for low-and-slow cooking of meats and fish.
• Toast cheese or char bread briefly over smoke for appetizer variations.

Which foods pair best with each wood flavor?

Different woods complement different ingredients: fruit woods suit lighter proteins and cocktails, while hardwoods support richer meats. Matching the chip to the food enhances natural flavors instead of masking them.

• Apple & Cherry: salmon, pork, chicken, and light cheeses.
• Pear & Peach: seafood, soft cheeses, and delicate desserts.
• Oak: steak, aged cheeses, and barrel-aged spirits.
• Hickory: brisket, ribs, pork shoulder, and hearty smoked dishes.

How much product is included and how long does it last?

The set contains six distinct flavors of premium wood chips, packaged for repeated use across cocktails and small cooking sessions. A little goes a long way—pinches or small handfuls produce strong aroma, so a single pack will last through many uses depending on frequency.

• Six flavors: apple, cherry, oak, pear, peach, hickory.
• Designed for multiple short smoke infusions per packet.
• Store in a cool, dry place to preserve aroma and longevity.
• Ideal for experimenting with flavor combinations and pairings.
