GS Plant Foods Liquid Kelp Fertilizer Concentrate – 1 Gallon OMRI‑Listed Seaweed, Root Growth & Soil Health (Makes 800+ Gallons)

GS Plant Foods Liquid Kelp Fertilizer is an OMRI-listed, concentrated seaweed extract designed to improve root health, bolster plant resilience, and support greener lawns and more productive gardens.

This concentrated kelp fertilizer is made from Ascophyllum nodosum and formulated for use across lawns, ornamental beds, vegetable gardens, and soil amendment programs. Because it is OMRI listed and suitable for organic growing, it fits into certified organic systems while offering growers a natural source of growth-supporting compounds. One gallon of the concentrate dilutes to make more than 800 gallons of liquid feed, making it economical for home gardeners and larger landscape applications alike.

How will this kelp concentrate help my plants?

Liquid kelp supplies a broad spectrum of micronutrients, natural plant hormones, and organic compounds that support plant processes without synthetic additives. It works primarily by enhancing root development and improving nutrient uptake, which in turn supports greener, more vigorous foliage and better flowering or fruiting.

• Supports root growth and branching for improved water and nutrient access
• Contains natural cytokinins and auxins that encourage cell division and growth
• Improves overall nutrient absorption and soil microbe activity
• Safe for repeated use in organic systems when applied as directed

How do I use the concentrate for lawns, gardens, and potted plants?

The concentrate is designed to be diluted for spray or soil drench applications. For large turf areas or extensive garden beds, mix according to label rates to create low-cost, broad-coverage feed; for container plants use a weaker solution and apply more frequently to avoid salt buildup.

• Dilutes to over 800 gallons—mix with water and apply with hose-end sprayer or pump sprayer
• Use as a foliar spray or soil drench depending on crop and growth stage
• Apply regularly during active growth for best results; follow label for exact rates
• Safe for use on vegetables, ornamentals, shrubs, and turf when used per instructions

Is this product appropriate for organic or certified gardens?

Yes—GS Plant Foods Liquid Kelp is OMRI listed and formulated to comply with National Organic Program requirements, making it suitable for organic production systems when used according to certification rules and label directions.

• OMRI listed for use in organic growing systems
• Free from synthetic plant growth regulators and prohibited materials
• Can be combined with other organic fertility practices for integrated nutrition
• Check your certifier’s guidelines for product use and recordkeeping
