GDHSWJ Chicken Nesting Pads — 6-Pack 12x13 Washable Waterproof Liners with Cushioning & Perforations

GDHSWJ Chicken Nesting Pads are washable, waterproof 12"x13" liners that protect eggs and create a cleaner, odor-resistant nesting environment for backyard hens.

If you keep laying hens, managing nesting boxes can be a chore: wet bedding, broken eggs and lingering odors are common problems. These GDHSWJ nesting pads are made from a durable poly material that fits most standard nesting boxes, cushions eggs, and is easy to clean—either by shaking off debris, hosing them down, or machine washing depending on the mess.

How do these pads help protect eggs during laying?

Designed with flexible plastic and a slight cushioning surface, the pads absorb minor impacts and reduce breakage when hens shift or steps into the nesting area. Built-in perforations let droppings fall through or be rinsed away, keeping eggs cleaner and easier to collect.

• Cushioned poly surface reduces shock to shells
• Perforations speed cleaning and keep eggs cleaner
• Edges fit snugly into 12"x13" boxes to minimize rolling

Will these nesting pads keep my coop smelling fresher?

The breathable and waterproof construction helps limit moisture buildup and the odors that follow. Instead of straw or loose bedding that traps moisture, these liners are easy to clean and dry quickly, which reduces bacterial growth and lingering smells.

• Waterproof layer prevents absorption of wetness
• Breathable surface promotes faster drying
• Simple debris removal lowers odor accumulation

Can I customize the pads to fit different nesting boxes?

Yes—each pad measures 12" x 13" to suit most standard nesting boxes, and the poly material cuts easily with household scissors for a tailored fit. Their rigid-yet-flexible character keeps them in place while allowing you to trim corners or edges without fraying.

• Standard 12" x 13" size fits most boxes
• Easy to trim for custom or older coop designs
• Durable edges resist tearing after cutting

How long do these nesting pads last, and how do I clean them?

Made from scratch-resistant poly, the pads are built to withstand daily scratching and reuse across seasons. Light debris can be shaken off; heavier soiling rinses clean with a hose. For a deeper clean, machine wash on a gentle cycle if recommended by your care instructions, then air dry.

• Scratch-proof poly resists wear from hens
• Rinseable surface for quick maintenance
• Machine washable possibility for periodic deep cleaning

Who is this for: These GDHSWJ nesting pads are ideal for backyard poultry keepers, small-scale farmers, and anyone wanting a lower-maintenance, more sanitary nesting area. They suit owners who prefer reusable, odor-resistant alternatives to straw or hay and need a simple, durable liner that protects eggs, simplifies cleaning, and fits most standard nesting boxes.
