Homaisson Artificial Grass Nesting Pads for Chickens 12-Pack 12×12 in — Washable, Cushioned, Non-Slip Turf Mats

These Homaisson 12×12 artificial grass nesting pads are soft, washable turf mats designed to give hens and small pets a cushioned, realistic nesting surface that’s easy to clean and reuse.

If you want a tidy, comfortable nest area without loose straw or messy bedding, these synthetic PE grass pads offer a neat, low-maintenance alternative. Sold in a 12-pack of 12" x 12" squares, they fit most nesting boxes and provide a protective layer that helps reduce cracked eggs while adding a springlike look to coops, balconies, or indoor pet spaces.

How do these pads protect eggs and nests?

The pads are made from thicker, soft polyethylene fibers with a cushioned backing that absorbs impact and keeps eggs from rolling or cracking. The textured surface mimics grass to encourage hens to nest naturally while the rubberized base stabilizes the mat inside the box.

• 0.79" pile thickness cushions eggs and reduces breakage risk
• Textured turf surface encourages hens to settle in the nest
• Non-slip backing holds mat in place inside nesting boxes
• Square 12" x 12" size fits most standard nesting boxes without cutting

Are the mats easy to clean and reuse?

Yes — the Homaisson pads are made from PE, PP, and rubber that resist stains and fade. They rinse quickly with soap and water and air-dry fast, making them practical for repeated use through multiple laying cycles.

• Plastic fibers don’t retain moisture like straw or hay
• Machine or hand-wash friendly; quick air-dry
• Durable construction resists fraying and UV fading
• Reusable across seasons, lowering ongoing bedding costs

Will these fit my coop or other spaces?

Each mat measures approximately 12" by 12", a convenient, universal size for most nesting boxes and small pet enclosures. Use them singly or trim a mat if you need a custom shape for planters, reptile habitats, or miniature landscapes.

• Compact 12" x 12" squares fit common nesting boxes
• Can be combined or trimmed for wider surfaces
• Suitable for coops, balconies, gardens, terrariums, and pet crates
• Lightweight for easy repositioning and seasonal storage

What materials are used and are they safe?

The mats are constructed from synthetic PE and PP fibers with a rubberized backing. These materials are chosen for durability, softness, and easy cleaning; they are non-toxic and designed for repeated use in animal environments.

• Soft PE fibers provide a natural look without allergens from straw
• PP elements add durability and shape retention
• Rubber backing prevents slippage and protects box floors
• Fade-resistant for outdoor exposure when used in covered areas

Who is this for? These 12-pack Homaisson nesting pads are ideal for backyard poultry keepers who prefer low-maintenance nesting solutions, small-pet owners who want a cleaner bedding alternative, and hobbyists creating realistic mini gardens or reptile setups. They suit anyone seeking reusable, easy-to-clean mats that combine comfort and tidy presentation in nesting boxes, balconies, terrariums, or decorative displays.
