Braize Stainless Steel Grill Basket – 12.25 x 9.5 in Removable Handle, Locking Lid & Basting Brush

The Braize Stainless Steel Large Grill Basket is a roomy, lockable BBQ basket with a removable ergonomic handle and bonus basting brush and scrub sponge for fuss-free grilling of vegetables, seafood, and small pieces of meat.

Whether you're cooking at home, tailgating, or camping, this 12.25 x 9.5 x 1.5 inch stainless steel basket keeps small or fragile foods from falling through grill grates while delivering even heat and easy flipping. Built for convenience, the basket's secure locking lid and detachable handle make turning, serving, and storing simpler than foil packets or skewers. Included accessories—a heat-resistant silicone basting brush and a steel-fiber scrub sponge—add practical value for seasoning and cleanup.

How does the locking lid make flipping food easier and safer?

The locking lid holds ingredients in place so you can flip the whole basket once instead of turning individual pieces. This reduces food loss and prevents tearing of delicate items like fish or sliced vegetables. The secure latch keeps contents contained during movement on the grill.

• Locking mechanism secures lid to base for single-flip cooking
• Evenly spaced perforations allow smoke and heat flow
• Prevents small food from falling through grates

What makes the handle design convenient for outdoor cooking?

The ergonomic handle detaches for easier storage and safer exposure to high heat. When attached, it gives a stable grip for maneuvering the basket on and off the grill. Removing the handle also lets you put the basket directly on the grate or inside an oven without the extra length getting in the way.

• Removable handle for compact storage and transport
• Comfortable grip reduces hand strain when flipping
• Detaches quickly for oven or direct-grate use

Which foods and cooking situations are best suited to this basket?

This basket is ideal for vegetables, shrimp, small fish fillets, cubed meats, and marinated pieces that would slip through grill grates. It's great for backyard barbecues, campfire cooking, tailgates, and holiday roasts where you want consistent searing without losing pieces to the fire. The shallow depth ensures quick heat transfer and crisp edges.

• Perfect for mixed vegetables, shellfish, and diced meats
• Works well on charcoal, gas, and portable grills
• Shallow design promotes browning and smoke infusion

How do the included accessories improve grilling and cleanup?

The heat-resistant silicone basting brush lets you apply marinades and sauces neatly during cooking without melting, while the steel-fiber scrub sponge tackles stuck-on residue after the grill cools. Together they speed up prep and reduce post-cook labor so you spend more time enjoying the meal. Both accessories pack away with the basket for easy transport.

• Silicone brush withstands high temperatures and won’t shed bristles
• Steel-fiber scrub sponge removes char and grease effectively
• Accessories store inside or alongside the basket for portability
