ASPECTEK Electric Bug Zapper 20W with 2 Replacement Bulbs — 360° High-Voltage Indoor & Covered Patio Insect Killer

ASPECTEK's 20W electric bug zapper is a portable 360° insect trap that uses UV light and a high-voltage grid to attract and eliminate flying pests in indoor and covered outdoor spaces.

Designed for homes, patios, garages and small agricultural settings, this unit combines two UV bulbs and a surrounding electric grid to reduce flies, mosquitoes, gnats, moths and other nuisance insects. The double-sided open design provides all-around attraction while an outer safety mesh limits accidental contact with the charged grid. A removable tray and included hanging chain make placement and cleanup straightforward.

How quickly will it reduce insects in my space?

This zapper begins attracting bugs as soon as it's powered; visible reductions often appear within days depending on infestation level and placement. For best results, position the unit away from competing light sources and about 3–6 feet above the ground where flying pests travel.

• 20W of UV light to draw insects from all directions
• 360° open design increases capture range
• Works continuously for ongoing control—use nightly for best effect
• Placement tips: dark background and away from human activity help performance

Is the zapper safe to use around family, pets and plants?

The unit includes a sturdy outer mesh that helps prevent direct contact with the electrified inner grid, and the collection tray keeps debris contained for hygienic cleanup. It’s intended for indoor and covered outdoor use; avoid exposing it to rain or full outdoor weather to protect the electronics and ensure safe operation.

• Durable outer cage reduces accidental touching of the grid
• Removable tray captures insect remains for easy disposal
• Not weatherproof—use only in covered patios, garages, greenhouses and similar areas
• Follow instructions for safe hanging and electrical use around children and pets

How long do the bulbs last, and are replacements included?

The included UV bulbs are rated for long service life—typically between 2,500 and 3,000 hours—so you’ll get many nights of operation before replacement is needed. ASPECTEK provides two extra bulbs with the unit so you can swap them when output dims or to troubleshoot reduced attraction.

• Long-life UV bulbs designed to attract a wide range of flying insects
• Two replacement bulbs included for extended use or quick swaps
• Simple bulb-replacement process compatible with the housing design
• Manufacturer guidance available for tightening connections after shipping

How easy is cleaning and moving the unit?

The bug zapper is lightweight and includes a hanging chain for flexible installation options; it also features a slide-out collection tray that detaches for rinsing or wiping. The removable components make routine maintenance fast so the unit continues operating with minimal downtime.

• Removable washable tray speeds cleanup
• Lightweight housing and hanging chain for portable placement
• Quick access to bulbs and inner grid for maintenance
• Compact footprint fits bedrooms, kitchens, sheds or greenhouse corners

It’s suited for bedrooms, covered patios, BBQ zones, garages, greenhouses and farm outbuildings where a compact, continuously operating trap is preferred over sprays or nets.
