Anley Military Service Banner Blue Star 15 x 8 in Satin Flag with Wooden Pole & Gold Tassel Cord

Anley’s 15" x 8" Military Service Banner displays the traditional single blue star on satin, complete with a wooden pole and gold hanging cord with tassels for dignified indoor display.

This compact ceremonial banner is made to honor an immediate family member serving in the U.S. military. Sewn from 100% satin and printed with UV-resistant dyes, the flag combines vivid color with a soft sheen suitable for mantels, tablets, entryways, or remembrance corners. The package includes a wooden pole and a decorative gold cord with tassels so the banner is display-ready right out of the box.

What are the banner’s materials and finish?

The banner is crafted from full satin for a smooth, polished look and lightweight drape. Print uses fade-resistant dyes, so the blue star and red border stay crisp under typical indoor light exposure. Stitched edges and a sewn pole sleeve help the banner hang flat and maintain its shape over time.

• 100% satin fabric with a soft sheen and lightweight drape
• UV fade-resistant dye for long-lasting color
• Sewn pole sleeve for stable hanging
• Finished fringe and stitched borders for durability

How large is the banner and how does it display?

The piece measures 15 inches wide by 8 inches tall—compact enough for tabletops yet large enough to be clearly seen when mounted on a wall. It arrives with a wooden flagpole that slides through the sewn sleeve, plus a golden hanging cord with decorative tassels for immediate display. The proportions make it appropriate for small memorial areas, office desks, or family rooms.

• Overall size: 15" x 8" (width x height)
• Includes wooden flagpole that fits the sewn sleeve
• Gold cord with tassels for hanging on hooks or nails
• Compact enough for shelves, mantels, or framed shadowboxes

Is this banner suitable for ceremonies or gifting?

Yes—its traditional single blue star design follows the familiar symbol used by families to indicate a service member. The elegant satin finish and gold-accented cord create a respectful presentation for occasions like Veterans Day, Memorial Day, homecomings, or as a thoughtful keepsake. It ships ready to hang, making it an easy gift for loved ones honoring someone who serves.

• Traditional blue star motif recognized by military families
• Presentation-ready with pole and gold hanging cord
• Appropriate for holidays, ceremonies, and remembrance displays
• A keepsake-sized gift for family members and veterans

How should I care for and store the banner?

Because it’s satin with printed colors, keep the banner out of prolonged direct sunlight to preserve pigments and avoid machine washing when possible. Spot-clean gently with mild detergent and lay flat to dry; the wooden pole and cord should be removed before any cleaning. Store in a cool, dry place folded loosely or rolled to prevent creases and protect the tassels.

• Avoid extended direct sunlight to maintain color
• Spot clean with mild soap; do not bleach
• Remove wooden pole and cord before cleaning
• Store flat or rolled to protect tassels and fabric
