Anley Signal Flags International Maritime Banner — 40 ft, 40 Polyester Flags, UV-resistant

Anley Signal Flags set is a 40-foot string of authentic-looking international maritime flags—40 individual polyester flags in varying sizes to decorate boats, patios, and nautical-themed events.

This Anley flag garland reproduces international maritime signal flags on a durable double-layer polyester string to give your space a classic naval look. With 40 colorful flags stretching roughly 40 feet, the set combines decorative impact with educational value: each flag reflects shapes and colors used in real-world ship signaling. The flags are dyed for improved UV resistance and arrive ready to hang for seasonal decor, parties, marinas, or as a year-round accent on a vessel, dock, or outdoor living space.

How do these signal flags enhance a nautical party or boat décor?

These flags add instant maritime atmosphere with vivid color and recognizable nautical symbolism. They create a sweeping visual line when draped across a cockpit, patio, or fence, and each flag’s bold patterns keep the display readable at a distance.

• 40-foot total length gives long, continuous coverage for decks, pergolas, or yards.
• 40 individual flags in alternating sizes (5.5"x9" and 5.5"x18") for visual rhythm.
• Bright polyester dye maintains color outdoors with UV fade resistance.
• Double-layer string construction for secure hanging and wind durability.

Are these actual international maritime signal flags or just decorative?

They are patterned after the International Code of Signals—each flag matches a traditional shape and color used in naval communication—so they work well for authentic-looking decor and as a learning aid. While printed on decorative polyester and not certified signaling gear, they faithfully represent the flag designs used worldwide.

• Includes standard signal designs for visual recognition and study.
• Suitable for classrooms, clubs, and hobbyists learning flag meanings.
• Not intended for formal ship-to-ship signaling or official maritime use.
• Great as an educational display at nautical museums or training events.

How durable are the flags outdoors and how should I hang them?

The flags are made from 100% polyester with dye treatment to resist fading, plus a reinforced double-layer string to help withstand wind and movement. Hang them by tying or clipping the string to railings, poles, or hooks; remove or store during extreme weather to prolong life.

• Polyester fabric for quick drying, mildew resistance, and color retention.
• Double-layer string reduces tearing and provides stronger attachment points.
• Can be secured with zip ties, clips, or simple knots on boats and fences.
• Recommended to take down in storms or high-wind conditions for longevity.

What sizes and specifications are included in the set?

The complete length measures approximately 40 feet and includes 40 flags that alternate in two sizes for a balanced look. Flags vary between roughly 5.5"x9" and 5.5"x18", attached to a continuous double-layer polyester cord for easy draping.

• Total length: ~40 feet with 40 individual flags.
