Alloxity Propane Hose Adapter 1lb to 20lb 8ft — QCC1/Type1 to 5–40lb Tank, Brass Fittings & Weather-Resistant

Alloxity 8FT Propane Hose Adapter converts 1lb disposable appliance fittings to 20lb tanks so you can run camp stoves, grills, and heaters from a standard refillable cylinder.

Designed for outdoor cooking and heating gear, this 8-foot hose adapter bridges small 1lb canister connections (QCC1/Type1/CGA600 style) to larger 5–40lb tanks. Constructed with heavy-duty brass fittings and multi-layer hose materials, the adapter offers extended reach and a weather-resistant build to suit camping, tailgating, patio grilling, or emergency heating setups. It’s CSA certified for safety and intended as a cost-saving replacement for single-use disposable cylinders.

How do I install the Alloxity 1lb-to-20lb propane hose adapter?

Installation is tool-free and fast: hand-tighten the brass connectors to the appliance’s QCC1/Type1 fitting and to the larger tank regulator. The process typically takes under two minutes and requires no specialized tools or training.

• Hand-tighten both brass ends until snug — no wrench needed
• Use the 8-foot length to position tank safely away from the appliance
• Check for leaks after connecting using soapy water before regular use

Which appliances and tanks will this hose adapter work with?

The Alloxity adapter is built to connect most 1lb LP outdoor appliances to 5–40lb propane tanks. It’s commonly compatible with Weber Q grills, Coleman camp stoves, Blackstone griddles (with regulator where required), and Mr. Buddy heaters, among other QCC1-style devices.

• Fits QCC1/Type1/CGA600 1lb disposable canister fittings
• Connects to standard 5–40lb and 20lb refillable tanks
• Works with grills, portable stoves, griddles, and patio heaters

What safety and durability features does this propane hose provide?

This hose uses precision-machined brass fittings and a multi-layer hose construction to resist weather, abrasion, and corrosion. It’s CSA certified, which means it has passed established safety and performance testing for propane connections.

• Heavy-duty brass connectors minimize leakage risk
• Weather-resistant PVC, cotton braiding, and anti-corrosion layers for longevity
• 8-foot length keeps tanks at a safer distance from heat sources

How much can I save by switching from 1lb bottles to a 20lb tank?

Using a refillable 20lb tank instead of many single-use 1lb cylinders significantly reduces fuel cost and waste. Savings vary by usage, but many users report cutting fuel expense by up to about $100 or more over repeated outings, depending on frequency and appliance consumption.

• Refillable tanks offer lower cost per BTU versus disposable bottles
• Fewer disposable canisters means less waste and fewer purchases
• Longer runtime and fewer interruptions during cooking or heating

Who this is for: The Alloxity 8FT Propane Hose Adapter is ideal for campers, tailgaters, backyard grillers, and anyone who uses portable propane appliances and prefers the economy and convenience of refillable tanks. It's a practical upgrade if you own QCC1/Type1-equipped stoves, grills, griddles, or portable heaters and want a safer, longer-reach connection to a 5–40lb propane cylinder. If you need a quick, tool-free hookup that’s CSA certified and built for outdoor conditions, this adapter is designed to fit that use.
