zechuan Solar Bug Zapper Outdoor 4500V - Waterproof Solar Fly Trap with Safety Mesh, 2100 sq ft Coverage

The zechuan Solar Bug Zapper Outdoor is a solar-powered, waterproof insect trap that lures and eliminates flying pests with a 4500V grid while protecting kids and pets with a safety net.

Designed for patios, yards, camping, and commercial outdoor spaces, this solar fly zapper combines a high-voltage grid with a targeted light wavelength to attract mosquitoes, flies, moths, wasps and other flying insects across an area up to 2100 square feet. The unit offers multiple charging options, simple mounting choices, and user-friendly operating modes so you can run it off-grid or plug in as needed. Built from durable ABS materials and fitted with a protective safety mesh, the device balances performance with everyday safety and easy maintenance.

How does the zechuan zapper attract and stop insects?

The device uses a specialized light wavelength to draw flying pests close to the casing, where a 4500V inner grid delivers a high-voltage shock to neutralize them quickly. A surrounding safety net prevents accidental contact with the electrified grid while allowing insects to pass through. This combination helps reduce visible pests in areas up to roughly 2100 square feet when positioned correctly.

• Targeted light wavelength optimized for mosquitoes, flies, moths and wasps
• 4500V inner electric grid for effective insect neutralization
• External safety mesh keeps children and pets safe from shocks
• Effective coverage area up to 2100 sq ft under ideal placement

What power and charging options are available?

Three power choices let you tailor use to your location: a 10W/5V solar panel, Type-C cable charging, or the built-in rechargeable battery. The battery typically recharges in 4–6 hours and provides about 12 hours of operation on a full charge; a charge indicator shifts from red to green when done. For longest life and peak nightly performance, position the adjustable solar panel in direct sun and avoid strong competing lights at night.

• 10W 5V adjustable solar panel with 10 ft extension cable
• Type-C wired charging when sunlight is insufficient
• Rechargeable internal battery — ~4–6 hour charge, ~12 hours run time
• Indicator light shows charging status (red to green)

How do I install, position, and maintain the unit?

The lightweight ABS housing enables multiple mounting and placement methods: freestanding on flat surfaces, hung by the included 2.6 ft chain, or staked into the ground. A waterproof design and covered ports protect electronics outdoors, but be sure to close the charging and switch covers when exposed to rain. Cleaning is straightforward: detach power, empty the bottom tray or rinse it, and brush the grid if dust or debris builds up.

• Includes 2.6 ft hanging chain and ground stake options
• Cover charging/switch ports to maintain waterproofing outdoors
• Bottom collection tray removable and washable; grid brush-cleanable when powered off
• Durable ABS construction suited for patios, decks, porches, gardens and RVs

What safety and usage modes should I expect?

The zapper provides automatic and manual modes plus an off position for flexible operation. In automatic mode the unit charges in sunlight and automatically activates the killing light at night (ensure solar panel connection). The safety net prevents accidental touch of the inner grid and the energy-efficient light design reduces effect on night ambiance while maximizing insect attraction.

• Automatic mode: charges by day and runs light at night when connected to solar panel
• Manual mode: operate light and charge as needed using Type-C or solar input
• Safety outer mesh and user instructions to prevent accidental contact
• Minimize other light sources for best nocturnal performance
