WedFeir 3/8" Natural Gas Quick Connect Fittings Kit — Solid Brass, Auto-Shutoff for Propane & NG

WedFeir 3/8" Natural Gas Quick Connect Fittings kit is a solid-brass, outdoor-only adapter set that lets you quickly connect and disconnect propane or natural gas hoses with an automatic shutoff for safer, faster hook-ups.

This compact quick-connect kit is built from 100% heavy-duty solid brass and is intended for outdoor gas use with natural gas or propane. The set contains multiple 3/8" NPT-threaded components so you can assemble the configuration you need for grills, heaters, camping stoves, or other outdoor LP/Natural Gas appliances. Each connector includes an auto-shutoff feature that stops gas flow when the hose is removed and a plastic dust cap to keep contaminants out when the connector is not in use.

What exactly is included in the WedFeir 3/8" quick disconnect kit?

The kit ships with three threaded quick-connect pieces that cover the most common 3/8" NPT hookups, allowing you to mix and match to create the arrangement required for your equipment. All components are ready for outdoor service and come ready to install.

• 3/8" Female Pipe Thread x 3/8" Quick Connect
• 3/8" Quick Disconnect Plug x 3/8" Female Pipe Thread
• 3/8" Male Pipe Thread x 3/8" Male Pipe Thread
• Plastic dust cap included for connector protection

How does the auto-shutoff quick connector improve safety and usability?

The quick connector contains an internal valve that automatically stops gas flow when the mating half is separated. This reduces the chance of accidental gas release during hose swaps and simplifies recurring connections without extra tools.

• Automatic shutoff seals gas line on disconnection
• Tool-free connect and disconnect for fast setup
• Dust cap prevents debris from interfering with the valve

Will these fittings work with my appliance—are they flare or NPT threads?

These fittings use 3/8" NPT (female and male) pipe threads, not 3/8" flare fittings. Confirm your appliance or hose thread specification before purchasing to ensure compatibility.

• Designed for 3/8" NPT pipe thread systems only
• Not compatible with 3/8" flare connections
• Suitable for both natural gas and propane when thread types match

How should I install and maintain these brass quick-connects for best performance?

Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with gas fittings, but always follow local codes and the appliance manufacturer's guidance. Use proper thread sealant rated for gas, ensure valves are closed, and inspect seals regularly for wear or debris.

• Use gas-rated thread sealant or tape on NPT threads
• Always close the gas valve before connecting or disconnecting
• Only for outdoor use; protect from standing water and extreme debris
• Periodically clean the dust cap and inspect brass for corrosion

Who is this kit for? This WedFeir 3/8" quick connect kit is aimed at homeowners, campers, grill enthusiasts, and outdoor equipment technicians who need a durable, easy-to-use brass solution for natural gas or propane hookups. It’s a practical choice if you require quick transitions between appliances, frequent setup and teardown, or a secure auto-shutoff connector for outdoor gas use. Do not use indoors; verify thread type and fuel compatibility before installation. For assembly, follow local gas-safety codes and the appliance manufacturer's instructions.
