WaterHog Boxwood Front Door Mat 22 x 59 — All-Weather Indoor/Outdoor Runner, Recycled PET, Slip-Resistant

WaterHog Boxwood Front Door Mat is a heavy-duty, all-weather indoor/outdoor entry rug designed to trap water, dirt, and debris while protecting floors.

Built with a ridged floral face and a sturdy rubber border, this long runner blends performance and low maintenance for busy thresholds. Made in the USA from PET fibers and recycled rubber, the mat combines eco-conscious materials with a bi-level design that resists crushing and channels moisture away from footwear. Measuring about 22" x 59" with a 3/8" profile, it fits common front doors, hallways, and office entryways while offering slip-resistant backing suitable for most hard floors.

How does the WaterHog Boxwood trap water and debris effectively?

The mat’s ridged floral surface and raised rubber perimeter capture and hold water and grime at the doorstep instead of letting it spread inside. Its bi-level construction creates pockets that store moisture and allow dirt to fall below the shoe surface, reducing tracking.

• Ridged floral PET fiber face scrapes dirt from soles.
• Rubber border prevents edge spillage and funnels liquid into channels.
• Holds up to 1 gallon of water per square yard in the mat’s channels.

Will this mat work on my flooring and stay in place?

The WaterHog Boxwood features a heavy-duty rubber backing designed to be skid-resistant on most hard surfaces, helping keep the mat stable at entrances. For delicate vinyl or specialty floors, check your flooring manufacturer's guidelines before use to avoid compatibility issues.

• Rubber backing safe for hardwood, tile, stone, and concrete.
• Backed by the National Floor Safety Institute for skid resistance.
• 20% recycled SBR rubber in the backing for weather resistance and strength.

How durable and eco-friendly is this entry rug?

This runner is constructed from PET fibers with up to 90% recycled content and a recycled-rubber backing, marrying durability with responsible manufacturing. The low-profile, crush-resistant design guards against mat fatigue from heavy foot traffic and frequent use.

• Made in the USA using premium PET fibers and recycled materials.
• Bi-level construction resists flattening under repeated use.
• Rubber backing formulated to withstand weather and wear.

How should I clean and care for the WaterHog Boxwood mat?

Maintenance is minimal—shake, vacuum, or scrub to remove loose debris, then hose off and air dry for deeper cleaning. The materials dry quickly and recover shape, making it practical for regular outdoor or indoor use.

• Routine: shake out or vacuum to remove loose dirt.
• Deep clean: hose down, scrub if needed, and air dry flat.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to heat or direct flame and follow vinyl flooring care recommendations if applicable.

It suits busy entryways, office corridors, porches, and mudrooms where moisture and dirt control matter.
