VIVOSUN 5 Gallon Fabric Grow Bags 10-Pack – 300g Breathable Pots with Reinforced Handles for Healthy Roots

VIVOSUN 10-Pack 5 Gallon Fabric Grow Bags are breathable, reusable fabric pots with reinforced handles designed for healthy root development and easy portability.

These 5-gallon fabric pots from VIVOSUN are built from thick 300g nonwoven material to balance airflow, drainage, and strength for container-grown vegetables, herbs, and ornamentals. They replace rigid plastic pots by allowing air pruning of roots, preventing root circling and improving oxygen exchange. Each bag includes heavy-duty, sewn-on handles so you can lift and reposition planted containers without tearing or strain.

How do these fabric pots improve plant root health?

The nonwoven fabric encourages air pruning, which naturally trims root tips when they reach the pot edge, promoting a more fibrous, branched root system. Better root architecture typically improves nutrient uptake and reduces the risk of root-bound plants common in plastic containers.

• 300g thickened fabric lets air reach the root zone for natural pruning.
• Permeable walls prevent waterlogging and improve oxygen availability.
• Reusable design avoids the circling root structure found in rigid pots.
• Sized for single-season vegetables or long-term container perennials with periodic root maintenance.

Are these grow bags durable enough to move full of soil?

Yes — unlike some fabric pots that use weak, integrated handles, VIVOSUN uses reinforced serging stitches to securely attach separate handles. This construction supports the weight of soil and plants and reduces tearing when you reposition your containers.

• Durable sewn handles designed for lifting filled bags safely.
• 300g nonwoven material resists abrasion and outdoor exposure.
• Sturdy seams and edge finishing reduce fraying over time.

How well do these bags manage drainage and watering?

The breathable nonwoven fabric allows excess water to escape and encourages evaporation through the pot walls, so roots aren’t sitting in stagnant moisture. This improves overall drainage compared with many plastic planters and supports healthier root oxygenation.

• Moderate permeability prevents water retention and pooling.
• Helps maintain balanced moisture levels for container-grown plants.
• Suitable for raised beds, patios, balconies, and outdoor garden setups.

How long will these grow bags last and can they be reused?

With basic care and occasional root pruning, these fabric pots can be reused for multiple seasons. The thick 300g fabric and reinforced stitching extend usable life, though exposure to extreme UV or constant wet conditions will shorten longevity.

• Thicker fabric resists wear for repeated planting cycles.
• Can be stored dry and folded between seasons to prolong life.
• Periodic root trimming helps maintain pot health and plant vigor.

Who is this for: Growers who want an affordable, durable alternative to plastic pots — from balcony gardeners and hobby vegetable growers to small-scale greenhouse or raised-bed operators. These 5-gallon VIVOSUN fabric pots fit gardeners who prioritize root health, easier handling when moving containers, and the ability to reuse pots across seasons without sacrificing drainage or breathability.
