VIVOSUN 20-Gallon Fabric Grow Bags 5-Pack — Heavy-Duty 300g Nonwoven Pots with Reinforced Handles for Air-Pruning Roots

VIVOSUN 20-gallon fabric grow bags are heavy-duty, breathable planting pots designed to improve root health and make moving soil-filled containers simple.

These VIVOSUN grow bags come as a set of five roomy, 20-gallon fabric pots made from thickened 300g nonwoven material. They combine air-pruning airflow with strong, sewn-on handles so you can grow vegetables, ornamentals, or shrubs in raised beds, patios, balconies, and garden plots without bulky plastic. The fabric’s moderate permeability balances moisture retention and drainage while resisting tearing during regular use.

How do these grow bags keep plant roots healthier?

The nonwoven fabric encourages air-pruning, which prevents roots from circling and promotes a dense, fibrous root system. Increased oxygen at the container edge stimulates branching rather than long, bound roots, supporting more efficient water and nutrient uptake.

• 300g thickened nonwoven fabric for steady air exchange
• Moderate permeability reduces waterlogging and root rot risk
• Air-pruning naturally limits root circling for stronger root structure
• Reusable material holds up through multiple growing seasons with proper care

Can I move these bags when they’re full of soil and plants?

Yes. VIVOSUN attaches reinforced, serger-stitched handles to each bag so they withstand the strain of a full 20-gallon load. That construction avoids the weak, single-strip handles used on lower-quality pots and makes repositioning plants for light, temperature, or staging far easier.

• Two heavy-duty handles on opposite sides for balanced lifting
• Serger stitching secures handles to the bag body for durability
• Lightweight fabric makes managing full bags easier than rigid pots
• Convenient for rearranging on patios, decks, and greenhouse benches

What kind of drainage and moisture control can I expect?

The breathable fabric lets excess water escape while holding enough moisture for healthy plant growth. This natural drainage system reduces the need for added holes and helps maintain an even root zone moisture level, especially when paired with a well-draining potting mix.

• Nonwoven material prevents pooling by allowing water to pass through
• Promotes oxygenated soil for vigorous root activity
• Works well with standard potting mixes and amendments for better aeration
• Reduces soil compaction compared with plastic containers

How long will these pots last and can they be reused?

With basic maintenance, these fabric grow bags last multiple seasons. They resist tearing and UV degradation better than thin fabric options, and proper cleaning and storage after each use extend their service life significantly.

• Thicker 300g fabric resists abrasion and wear
• Clean and dry between seasons to prevent mildew and soil residue
• Trim roots and refresh potting mix to reuse effectively
• Designed to avoid collapsed sides and maintain shape under load

Who is this for? These VIVOSUN 20-gallon fabric grow bags suit hobby and serious gardeners who need durable, breathable containers for vegetables, herbs, ornamentals, small trees, and containerized shrubs. They’re ideal if you want containers that improve root architecture, simplify transplanting and moving, and perform well in raised beds, patios, or greenhouses. Choose these grow bags when you want a reusable, environmentally friendlier alternative to rigid plastic pots that still holds a full soil charge and stays easy to handle.
