VIHSIPR Hanging Platform Bird Feeder 9-inch Red — Stainless-Steel Mesh, Quick-Drain Design

VIHSIPR's 9-inch red hanging platform bird feeder is an open, metal-mesh tray designed to attract small songbirds while draining rainwater quickly and staying easy to refill and clean.

Compact and thoughtfully built, this VIHSIPR hanging platform feeder combines stainless-steel mesh, a durable weather-resistant finish, and sturdy hanging chains to give backyard birdwatchers a reliable feeding station. Its open design makes it simple to add seed, remove debris, and keep food dry — ideal for everyday use on patios, porches, or in garden trees.

How does the platform design help backyard birdwatching?

The flat, open tray gives small birds a secure place to land and feed without navigating narrow perches or tubes. Because the tray is not enclosed, you get a clear, unobstructed view of birds and their behavior.

• 9-inch diameter fits finches, chickadees, sparrows, and similar small species
• Open profile provides wide landing space and easy photo opportunities
• Stainless steel mesh keeps the tray lightweight yet sturdy for clear sightlines

Is the feeder easy to maintain and refill?

Yes — the open tray eliminates the need to disassemble tubes or small parts, so refilling seed and rinsing the feeder are quick tasks. The perforated surface also helps unwanted moisture escape, reducing soggy seed and simple mold buildup when cleaned regularly.

• Open tray allows quick pouring of seed and fast rinsing with a hose
• Perforations promote rapid drainage after rain
• Metal construction resists warping, simplifying seasonal cleaning

Will this feeder withstand outdoor conditions?

The feeder uses a stainless steel mesh tray and solid metal hanging chains to resist everyday outdoor wear. Its durable finish helps protect against the elements in gardens and patios, though routine cleaning and occasional inspection extend longevity.

• Stainless steel mesh offers corrosion resistance for outdoor exposure
• Sturdy metal chains and included S-hook make hanging reliable
• Finish suitable for backyard, garden, and patio settings without rapid deterioration

Where can I hang the VIHSIPR 9" feeder and how easy is installation?

Installation is simple: use the included chains and S-hook to hang from tree branches, shepherd hooks, pergolas, or porch beams. The lightweight platform is straightforward to relocate as seasons change or as you experiment with different bird-attracting spots.

• Comes with durable hanging chains and an S-hook for quick setup
• Works on tree branches, shepherd hooks, patio eaves, and garden structures
• Lightweight design makes repositioning fast and easy
