Victor Rat Zapper Classic Electronic Indoor Rat Trap, 4-Pack — no-touch disposal & LED alerts

The Victor Rat Zapper Classic is an indoor electronic rodent trap that quickly kills large rats with a continuous high-voltage shock while keeping the carcass contained for no-see, no-touch disposal.

Designed for homeowners who need a reliable, low-hassle solution for rodent problems inside, the RZC001-4 combines a compact kill chamber, automatic sensing circuitry, and LED alerts. It requires four AA batteries (not included) and simple baiting to operate. Because the trap contains the dead animal and signals you with a green light, checks and clean-up are less unpleasant than with traditional snap traps.

How does the Victor Rat Zapper Classic detect and eliminate rats?

The trap uses smart circuit technology and two metal plates inside the chamber. When a rat enters and steps on the plates, the circuit completes and delivers a continuous high-voltage shock for up to two minutes to ensure a rapid kill.

• Smart sensing circuitry activates the shock only when weight contacts the plates.
• Two-minute continuous shock reduces chance of recovery and increases effectiveness.
• Kill chamber contains the rodent, keeping the mess out of sight.

What makes setup, use, and disposal simple for busy homeowners?

Setup takes only minutes: apply bait, insert four AA batteries, place the unit along a wall, and flip the switch. After a catch the green LED blinks so you don’t need to repeatedly inspect the trap. For disposal, tip the unit to empty the rat into trash without touching the carcass.

• Step-by-step operation: bait, batteries, place, turn on.
• Green LED indicates a catch; red LED warns of low battery.
• No-touch disposal—tip the trap to drop the carcass directly into waste.

Where can I safely place the Victor Rat Zapper Classic inside my home?

The device is intended for indoor locations that are dry and sheltered from weather, such as attics, basements, garages, and sheds. Place it against walls and along known rodent paths for best results, and avoid areas reachable by children or pets.

• Indoor-only design—do not expose to rain, snow, or damp outdoors.
• Ideal locations: attics, basements, garages, utility rooms, and sheds.
• Keep out of reach of children and curious pets; follow safety guidance on placement.

How many rats will one Victor Rat Zapper Classic handle before batteries must be replaced?

Battery life varies with usage, but a single set of four AA batteries can kill up to 20 average-size rats under typical conditions. The trap’s low-battery red indicator blinks to remind you it’s time to replace batteries so performance remains consistent.

• Up to 20 rats per set of 4 AA batteries (actual results vary).
• Red LED blinks to indicate low battery power.
• Replace batteries proactively in heavy-infestation scenarios for uninterrupted operation.
