Tronssien Rectangle Sun Shade Sail 10'x13' - 95% UV Blockage, 185GSM HDPE Canopy

Tronssien Rectangle 10'x13' Sun Shade Sail is a durable, high-density polyethylene canopy that blocks up to 95% of UV rays to cool and protect outdoor spaces.

Designed for patios, gardens, pools, and backyard gatherings, this 10'x13' rectangular shade sail from Tronssien combines recycled 185GSM high-density polyethylene with UV treatment for reliable sun protection and longer product life. Reinforced stitching, stainless steel D-rings, and included ropes make the sail sturdy and ready for seasonal use while helping reduce surface temperatures in the covered area.

How well does the sail block sun and heat?

The fabric is UV-treated to block approximately 95% of harmful ultraviolet rays, which helps reduce direct sun exposure and lowers heat within the shaded footprint. It’s engineered to decrease the temperature underneath by limiting direct sunlight, not by cooling the air like a mechanical system.

• 185GSM high-density polyethylene fabric with UV treatment
• Estimated 95% UV blockage for strong sun protection
• Recycled material that still performs reliably

What makes installation and durability dependable?

The sail is cut from a continuous net and finished with double-stitched seams for added strength. Each corner has a stainless steel D-ring and comes with four 2.5 ft high-strength ropes to secure it; leave 1.5–2 ft from fixing points for hardware and to prevent over-tensioning.

• Double-stitched perimeter for reinforced edges
• Four stainless steel D-rings at corners for secure attachment
• Four 2.5 ft ropes included to tie to posts, trees, or anchors

Where can I use this shade sail and how versatile is it?

This rectangular canopy suits patios, decks, poolside loungers, BBQ areas, playgrounds, and garden seating. It provides both sun protection and a degree of privacy while being adaptable to angled or multiple-anchor setups for coverage over different shapes.

• Fits patios, gardens, pools, BBQ and outdoor dining areas
• Works with posts, trees, or fixed wall anchors (hardware not included)
• Can be rigged flat or with a slight angle for water runoff

What installation tips will improve lifespan and performance?

Measure from D-ring to D-ring before cutting anchor rope length and allow a small slack to accommodate minor shrinkage from sunlight exposure. Do not pull the sail rigidly tight—some give helps reduce stress on seams and hardware and allows water to drain rather than pool.

• Measure D-ring to D-ring; leave 1.5–2 ft for anchors and rope
• Allow slight slack to prevent seam strain and pooling
• Expect minor shrinkage after first sun exposure; adjust tension accordingly
