Swimline Hydrotools 1.5" x 12' Pool Pump Filter Connection Hose — Heavy-Duty, Chemical & UV-Resistant

When a worn or cracked hose interrupts circulation, the right replacement restores flow and protects your pump. The Hydrotools by Swimline hose is crafted for above-ground pool systems and filter hookups, offering chemical- and UV-resistant material, reinforced cuffs, and a lightweight, flexible body for easy handling. It’s built to reduce kinks, prevent leaks, and keep filtration running smoothly so your equipment doesn’t have to work harder than necessary.

How does this hose improve daily pool circulation?

Replacing an aged or brittle hose with the Hydrotools connection hose minimizes pressure loss and blockages that slow filtration. The smooth inner bore and 1.5" diameter maintain steady water movement between skimmer, pump, and return, helping the system operate closer to designed efficiency.

• 1.5" inner diameter supports consistent flow for common above-ground pumps
• Smooth interior reduces debris build-up and snags
• 12' length covers typical skimmer-to-pump distances without strain
• Reinforced cuffs create a snug, leak-resistant connection

Is this hose durable against pool chemicals and sunlight?

The Hydrotools hose uses heavy-duty materials engineered to resist degradation from chlorine, bromine and sunlight exposure. Its construction helps it last through seasons of use with less cracking or stiffness than cheaper hoses.

• Chemical-resistant polymer resists common sanitizers
• UV-stable outer layer slows sun-driven wear and brittleness
• Double-reinforced cuffs reduce stress at connection points
• Designed and tested by Hydrotools in New York for consistent quality

How easy is installation and maintenance?

Installation is straightforward: measure, trim if needed, and secure the integrated cuffs to your skimmer, pump or return fittings. The hose’s flexibility and lightweight design make routing simple, and basic periodic checks keep connections leak-free.

• Measures 1.5" x 12' to fit most above-ground setups without adapters
• Flexible enough to bend around equipment without kinking
• Integrated cuffs eliminate extra clamps or fittings in many installs
• Inspect cuffs and fittings seasonally to ensure a tight seal

Will this hose protect my pump and other pool equipment?

By promoting uninterrupted flow and preventing debris accumulation, the Hydrotools hose reduces strain on pumps and helps filtration systems operate as intended. A secure, leak-free connection also prevents air entry and cavitation that can damage pump seals and impellers.

• Maintains steady water flow to reduce pump overexertion
• Reduces risk of air leaks that can cause cavitation
• Prevents sediment pockets that lead to clogs and wear
• Helps extend service life of connected equipment when used properly

Who is this for: Pool owners with above-ground systems, weekend maintenance pros, and anyone replacing worn filter or skimmer connections will find the Swimline Hydrotools 1.5" x 12' hose a practical choice. It’s aimed at users who want a durable, easy-to-install replacement that resists chemicals and sunlight while keeping their pump and filter running more efficiently. Hydrotools backs the product with a one-year guarantee against manufacturing defects and U.S.-based support for peace of mind.
