Grow a showy border, meadow patch, or cutting garden with this generous bulk pack of California Giants zinnias. Each resealable bag contains fresh, high-germination seeds sourced in the USA and blended for a vibrant mix of reds, pinks, purples, oranges, yellows and whites. The quantity is ideal for landscapers, community gardens, florists, or home gardeners who want continuous, large flowers without repeated seed purchases.

How many plants will I get from this 1/4 pound bag?

You can expect thousands of individual seeds—over 12,000—so this bag will easily cover large areas. With recommended spacing, the quantity translates into hundreds of plants, depending on whether you sow in blocks, rows, or broadcast-seed for a meadow effect.

• Contains 1/4 pound (over 12,000 seeds) for widespread planting
• Coverage estimate: enough to plant over 300 square feet when spaced per instructions
• Sow densely for massed color or thin seedlings for larger individual blooms

When and how should I sow these zinnia seeds for best results?

Sow zinnias after the last frost when soil temperatures are warm—typically spring through early summer. Plant seeds on the soil surface or just barely covered, where they receive full sun; thin seedlings to the required spacing once they have 2–3 true leaves.

• Plant after frost; prefer full sun and well-draining soil
• Surface sow or cover lightly (1/8"–1/4") to ensure germination
• Thin to 6"–12" spacing for optimal large flower development

What kind of blooms and colors can I expect from the California Giants mix?

This heirloom mix was selected for large, five-inch flowers and a bold palette. Flowers appear in a lively range of hues and reliably produce large, single or semi-double heads ideal for bouquets and pollinator habitat.

• Blooms reach about 5" across—great for cutting and displays
• Color mix includes red, pink, purple, orange, yellow, and white
• Open-pollinated variety preserves seed traits year to year
