Suicatene 42oz Chicken Nesting Herbs — Natural Lavender & Mint Blend for Coop Freshness, Calming Hens

Suicatene 42oz Chicken Nesting Herbs is a ready-to-use blend of eight natural botanicals formulated to freshen nests, calm hens, and encourage consistent laying.

Keep your nesting boxes inviting and your flock comfortable with this all-natural mix. The 42-ounce, vacuum-sealed bag contains a balanced combination of herbs such as mint, lavender, and calendula that can be sprinkled directly into nest boxes, bedding, or dust baths. Designed for backyard keepers and small-scale poultry owners, this blend aims to create a cleaner, more pleasant coop atmosphere without synthetic fragrances or complicated prep.

How will these herbs change my hens' nesting habits?

The calming, familiar scents of herbs like lavender and calendula help create a consistent, attractive nesting environment. Hens often prefer a steady, pleasant aroma and soft bedding; these herbs add both scent and texture to encourage nesting in boxes rather than on the coop floor.

• Apply a light layer in each nesting box to maintain scent and comfort
• Replace or refresh when scent fades or after heavy soiling
• Natural botanicals discourage floor-laying by making nests more appealing

How do I use the Suicatene mix safely and effectively?

Using the blend is simple—no mixing or tools required. Sprinkle a modest amount into nesting boxes, over bedding, or into dust baths; the vacuum-sealed packaging preserves potency until opened.

• Start with a thin layer (about 1/4–1/2 cup) per nest box and adjust as needed
• Top up weekly or after cleaning to sustain aroma and comfort
• Store unopened pouch in a cool, dry place to retain freshness

What specific benefits can I expect for coop cleanliness and comfort?

The botanical blend helps control coop odors and adds a pleasant, natural scent without chemicals. The herbs also act as a light bedding supplement, improving nest box texture and contributing to a more inviting laying area.

• Freshens air with gentle botanical aromas, reducing strong coop odors
• Adds soft, absorbent material to nesting boxes for cleaner eggs
• Supports a calmer flock environment when used regularly

Will this product affect egg quality or safety?

These herbs are intended to improve nesting conditions and coop comfort; they are not additives for altering eggs. When used as directed—applied to nesting material and not mixed into feed—the blend supports a cleaner environment that can help reduce soiling of eggs.

• Use only in nests, bedding, or dust baths—not in chicken feed
• Clean nest boxes regularly to maintain sanitary egg-laying conditions
• Replace bedding and herbs if damp or heavily soiled to ensure egg cleanliness
