sudelin Crawling Zombie Animatronic 50-Inch — Sound-Activated, Red Light-Up Eyes & 15s Crawl for Indoor/Outdoor Halloween

The sudelin Crawling Zombie Animatronic is a 50-inch, battery-powered Halloween prop that claws forward with sound-activation, red glowing eyes, and creepy voice effects for an immersive scare.

Give your Halloween display a dramatic, floor-level focal point with this realistic groundbreaker zombie. Designed to mimic an undead creature dragging itself forward, the prop combines motion, sound, and illumination to create a convincing surprise for trick-or-treaters and haunted-house guests. Lightweight and cord-free, it installs quickly and can be positioned on covered porches, indoors, or in front-yard cemetery scenes.

How does the crawling action work and what does it look like?

The animatronic performs a motorized forward crawl that lasts about 15 seconds per activation, using swinging arms and a low profile movement to simulate a zombie dragging itself along the ground. The motion is deliberate and close to the surface so it reads well at eye level for approaching visitors.

• Approximately 15 seconds of forward crawling per activation
• Arm-swing mechanics for realistic reach-and-pull motion
• Low-to-the-ground profile for startling proximity
• Two-piece assembly for quick setup and compact storage

What sensory effects does it include to enhance the scare?

This prop layers effects: bright red light-up eyes, eerie voice effects, and the physical crawling movement. Combined, these elements produce a multi-sensory trigger that heightens surprise, especially in dim lighting or crowded entryways.

• Light-up red eyes for nighttime visibility and creep factor
• Creepy recorded voice effects synchronized to movement
• Motion plus sound creates a three-way scare experience
• Distressed gauze and skull detailing add visual realism

How is it powered and how do I trigger it?

The unit runs on three AA batteries, so you can place it wherever you like without worrying about extension cords. You can trigger the zombie manually with the control button, or set it to sound-activated mode so it responds to footsteps, voices, or nearby noise.

• Battery-powered (3 x AA) for cordless placement
• Manual control button for on-demand scares
• Sound-activated mode detects ambient noise to trigger action
• Simple controls suitable for multiple display setups

Where does this prop work best and how durable is it?

Built for seasonal displays, this animatronic is ideal for covered outdoor areas, entryways, haunted-house scenes, and indoor party spaces. Lightweight construction makes it easy to move between setups, while fabric and plastic components are suitable for short-term outdoor use during Halloween weather; avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain.

• Ideal for porches, lawns, haunted houses, and hallways
• Compact two-piece assembly for simple transport and storage
• Designed for seasonal outdoor use—avoid full weather exposure
• Large 50" length for an impressive floor-level presence
