Silky Curved Pruning Saw 330mm ZUBAT — Large Teeth, Electroless Nickel Blade

The Silky ZUBAT Professional Curved Hand Saw 330mm is a heavy-duty curved pruning saw with large aggressive teeth and a rust-resistant electroless nickel finish for fast, clean cuts in branches up to 6.5".

Built for gardeners, arborists and outdoor professionals who need a compact but powerful hand saw, the ZUBAT blends Silky’s signature curved blade profile with a large-tooth configuration that bites quickly through green and dead wood. The 13-inch (330mm) blade and 1.5mm thickness strike a balance between rigidity and nimble stroke control, while the electroless nickel plating improves wear resistance and corrosion protection in wet or dirty environments.

How does the ZUBAT’s curved blade improve pruning performance?

The curvature concentrates cutting force toward the midsection of the blade, helping the saw track naturally on rounded branches and reducing the tendency to wander. That shape also shortens the effective stroke length needed to make a full-depth cut, so you finish jobs faster with fewer strokes.

• 330mm (13") curved blade for smoother arc cuts
• Curved geometry helps maintain bite on rounded timber
• Shorter stroke required for full-depth cuts

What kinds of cuts and branch sizes can this saw handle?

With a 6.5" (approx. 165mm) cut capacity and prominent large teeth—6.4 TPI—it excels at pruning medium to large greenwood and cutting through dense deadwood. The large tooth spacing clears chips efficiently, making it suitable for thicker branches that would bog down finer-toothed saws.

• Cut capacity: 6.5" (165mm) for standard pruning tasks
• Large teeth (6.4 TPI / 7.5 per 30mm) for quick material removal
• 1.5mm blade thickness for strength on larger limbs

How durable is the blade and what maintenance does it need?

The blade’s electroless nickel plating improves resistance to wear and corrosion compared with uncoated steel, reducing the pace of rusting and surface abrasion during frequent outdoor use. Routine cleaning after wet or sticky cuts and occasional sharpening or tooth maintenance will keep performance consistent over years of service.

• Electroless nickel plating for enhanced rust and wear resistance
• Lightweight design: 300 g operating weight; 480 g with included sheath
• Simple cleaning and occasional filing preserve cutting action

What makes this model practical for professionals and hobbyists?

The ZUBAT’s combination of aggressive teeth, manageable length, and low weight makes it easy to use one-handed in tight spaces while still delivering fast cutting on larger branches. The included protective sheath keeps the blade safe during transport and storage, and the saw’s balance helps reduce fatigue during prolonged pruning sessions.

• Compact 13" blade for access in confined canopies
• 300 g operating weight reduces user fatigue
• Sheath included for safe carry and blade protection
