SHINESTAR 6ft Braided Propane Hose Adapter 1lb-to-20lb with Glow Gauge — Stainless Steel, Brass Fittings

When you want the convenience of portable 1lb propane appliances without the recurring cost and waste of small cylinders, this SHINESTAR adapter hose bridges the gap. It lets common camping stoves, griddles and portable heaters run from a full-size tank using a QCC-1/Type 1 connector and a 1"-20 throwaway thread, while a luminous gauge shows remaining fuel. Built with stainless-steel braid and brass fittings, the assembly is designed for repeated outdoor use and safer connections.

How does this adapter save money and prevent mid-trip runouts?

Instead of buying multiple single-use 1lb cylinders, you hook your appliance to a 20lb tank for far more run time per refill. The hose’s gauge means you can monitor levels instead of guessing, so you avoid unexpected interruptions. Result: fewer disposable bottles, lower fuel cost per hour, and less packing bulk for trips.

• Connects 1lb appliances to 5–40lb tanks for extended run time
• Glow-in-the-dark, color-coded gauge for on-the-spot fuel checks
• Reduces waste and ongoing expense from disposable cylinders

What safety and durability features does the SHINESTAR hose include?

The hose uses a stainless-steel braided exterior to resist abrasion, rodent damage and UV exposure better than plain rubber lines. Fittings are solid brass, and the assembly is CSA certified for leak-proof performance when connected correctly. Together these features help ensure a reliable, long-lasting fuel line for outdoor environments.

• Heavy-duty stainless steel braiding protects against wear and chewing
• 100% solid brass fittings for corrosion-resistant, tight seals
• CSA certification for compliance with recognized safety standards

Which appliances and tanks are compatible with this adapter?

The SHINESTAR adapter was made for popular portable grills, griddles and heaters that accept 1lb disposable cylinders. It threads onto standard 20lb tanks (and 5–40lb tanks) using the common QCC-1/Type 1 fitting and male 1"-20 throwaway thread so you can use full-size propane sources year-round. Always verify your appliance connections match before use.

• Works with Blackstone 17"/22" griddles, Weber Q and Traveler models
• Compatible with Coleman camping stoves, Char-Broil portables, Mr. Heater Buddy
• Connects to standard 5–40lb and 20lb tanks via QCC-1/Type 1

How easy is it to read the fuel level in low-light conditions?

The integrated gauge glows for improved visibility at night without needing an external light source. Its color-coded face lets you identify approximate levels quickly so you can plan refills or swaps. The readable indicator reduces guesswork and keeps you from shaking cylinders to estimate remaining fuel.

• Glow-in-the-dark dial for night-time readability
• Color-coded segments show approximate remaining fuel at a glance
• High-precision gauge avoids guesswork and last-minute surprises

Who is this for? The SHINESTAR 6ft braided propane hose adapter is for campers, backyard griddle chefs, tailgaters, ice-fishers and anyone who uses portable 1lb-fueled appliances but prefers the economy and convenience of full-size tanks. It's aimed at users who want a durable, easy-to-read, and CSA-certified solution to extend run times, cut ongoing costs, and simplify outdoor fuel management.
