SHAODIE 14in Solar Squirrel Sculpture - Warm Brown Resin, Weather-Resistant Solar Lantern

A 14-inch resin squirrel sculpture from SHAODIE that mounts to trees or posts and lights a soft glow at dusk using a built-in solar lantern.

This lifelike garden ornament combines decorative charm with hands-free illumination: a weather-resistant resin squirrel clutches a solar-powered lantern that charges by day and automatically lights when night falls. Lightweight yet sturdy, it installs easily on a tree trunk or wooden post to create a whimsical focal point for yards, patios, or entryways. The warm brown finish and detailed sculpting bring a playful, natural accent without requiring wiring or frequent maintenance.

How does the solar lighting work for evening ambiance?

The squirrel includes an integrated solar cell and LED inside the lantern. Sunlight charges the internal battery during daytime hours; once ambient light falls below a threshold, the LED turns on automatically to provide a gentle, energy‑saving glow.

• Solar panel recharges battery by day for dusk illumination
• Energy-efficient LED provides soft, long-lasting light
• Automatic on/off removes need for switches or wiring
• Designed for typical garden light durations after a full charge

Will this decoration withstand outdoor weather conditions?

SHAODIE crafted the figure from durable, weather-tolerant resin to resist rain, sun, and seasonal changes. While resilient, placing it under partial shelter can extend the paint and finish life; avoid prolonged submersion or extreme freeze-thaw exposure for best longevity.

• Weather-resistant resin construction resists fading and cracking
• Stable finish suited to lawns, beds, patios, and porches
• Recommended occasional cleaning with mild soap and water
• Bring indoors during severe storms or extended winter storage

How do I install the squirrel on a tree or post?

Installation is straightforward: the sculpture mounts to a flat section of bark or a wooden post using simple fasteners. No complex tools or electrical work are required, and it can be repositioned easily to find the ideal viewing angle.

• Attach to tree trunk or wooden post with included mounting hardware
• Lightweight design simplifies placement and adjustment
• Mounting location should receive daylight for solar charging
• Hide screws behind sculpture for a seamless look

What size and visual impact should I expect in the garden?

At roughly 14 inches tall, the SHAODIE squirrel is large enough to catch attention without overwhelming garden beds or patios. The realistic pose and warm brown coloring add character, while the illuminated lantern creates a welcoming night-time accent.

• Approximately 14 inches high — visible at walkway and bed level
• Detailed sculpting offers a lifelike focal point
• Suitable for grouping with other ornaments or standalone display
• Compact enough for gifts like birthdays, Mother’s Day, or housewarmings

Who is this for: SHAODIE's solar squirrel appeals to gardeners and outdoor decorators who want low-maintenance, whimsical accents that also provide soft lighting. It makes a thoughtful gift for moms, grandmothers, and anyone who enjoys playful yard art without the fuss of wiring—ideal for patios, front-yard trees, porches, and small garden vignettes.
