SAKSUN Faux Coir Door Mat 17x30 Low-Profile Outdoor Welcome Mat — Weather-Resistant, Non-Slip TPE Backing

The SAKSUN Faux Coir Door Mat is a low-profile, weather-resistant welcome mat that traps dirt and stays put at outdoor entrances.

This 17"×30" outdoor mat combines the textured look of natural coir with a durable artificial fiber and a grippy TPE backing to protect floors and reduce cleaning. At just 0.4 inches thick and weighing 2 lbs, it’s designed to handle everyday foot traffic, brush off mud and moisture, and resist fading from sun and rain. The mat’s surface scrapes debris from shoes while its deep-grooved base prevents slipping—even in breezy or wet conditions.

How does this mat keep my entryway cleaner?

The SAKSUN mat uses a coarse faux-coir surface to remove dirt and moisture before it reaches your floors. Its low profile fits under doors easily but still offers enough texture to scrape shoe soles effectively.

• Artificial coir fibers capture dust, mud, and pet paw residue.
• Low 0.4" height lets doors open over it without catching.
• Easy to shake out, vacuum, or hose off for quick maintenance.
• Weatherproof face resists mold and fading from sun exposure.

Will this mat stay in place in wind or on wet surfaces?

Yes. A thick TPE backing with deep grooves anchors the mat to most flat outdoor surfaces to prevent shifting. The mat’s 2 lb weight and non-slip base help it remain stable during gusts or when wet, lowering trip risks.

• TPE backing grips sidewalks, porches, and entry tiles.
• Grooved underside channels water away to reduce sliding.
• Hefty 2-pound build increases contact and stability.
• Non-slip design improves safety for families and guests.

Is this durable enough for year-round outdoor use?

SAKSUN’s faux coir is engineered to outperform natural coir by resisting water, UV fading, and breakdown from repeated use. It stands up to seasonal weather—rain, light snow, and sun—without losing texture or color quickly.

• Waterproof construction prevents saturation and mildew.
• Fade-resistant fibers keep a fresh appearance over time.
• Robust face tolerates heavy foot traffic and pet activity.
• Easy to clean with a hose for winter slush or summer dust.

How simple is upkeep and where can I use it?

Maintenance is low-effort: vacuum, shake, or hose the mat to restore its look. Its versatile design fits multiple locations indoors and out, providing function and a tidy aesthetic across the home.

• Vacuum for daily care; shake or beat to remove trapped debris.
• Rinse with a garden hose for deeper cleaning as needed.
• Suitable for front porches, patios, garages, offices, and entry halls.
• Works as a seasonal accent for holidays while protecting floors.

Who is this for? Homeowners and renters who want a dependable, low-profile entry mat that mimics natural coir but delivers better durability will appreciate the SAKSUN faux coir welcome mat. It’s a good fit for busy families, pet owners, and anyone seeking a practical, weather-ready mat that reduces floor cleaning and improves safety at their doorway without frequent maintenance.
