RTT Extra Large Grill Basket — Stainless Steel Grill Basket with Detachable Handle & Secure Lock

RTT's Extra Large Grill Basket is a roomy, heavy-duty stainless steel grilling rack with a detachable handle and secure lock that keeps fish, vegetables, shrimp and other foods safe while you flip and sear.

Upgrade your outdoor cooking with a grill basket built for bigger loads and easier handling. RTT designed this extra-large basket to hold about 50% more food than typical baskets so you can grill family-sized portions without overcrowding. The stainless steel mesh, secure locking mechanism and removable handle let you grill with confidence under an open flame, in a smoker, or at the campsite.

How does the extra-large size change my grilling routine?

The larger capacity means fewer batches and less time standing over the grill. You can arrange a variety of ingredients—vegetables, whole fish, shrimp skewers or small cuts of meat—without crowding, which helps more even heat exposure and reduces flare-ups from drips.

• About 50% more surface area than standard baskets for larger portions
• Fits a mix of veg, fish, shrimp, burgers, pork chops and small steaks
• Less flipping trips — cook more at once and serve faster

Will the detachable handle really make grilling safer?

The removable handle lets you close a full grill lid without obstruction and prevents accidental burns when reaching over hot grates. Attach it securely while positioning food, then take it off before finishing, so nothing protrudes above the grill grate.

• Detachable handle for full lid closure and safer storage
• Easy on/off action so you don’t touch hot metal near flames
• Handle designed to stay secure during placement and removal

How does the locking mechanism protect my food while flipping?

RTT’s locking system and medium-density mesh keep even small items like shrimp and diced vegetables contained when you flip the basket. Flip confidently in one motion without spills, preserving presentation and minimizing food waste.

• Secure latch holds both sides together while flipping
• Mesh spacing designed to retain small pieces while allowing smoke and heat through
• Stable frame prevents sagging or warping under heavier loads

Is the grill basket easy to clean and built to last?

The basket is crafted from rust-resistant, heat-tolerant stainless steel so it stands up to frequent use and outdoor conditions. Most parts are dishwasher safe (handle excluded), and the simple geometry means food residue scrubs away quickly by hand when needed.

• Rust-proof stainless steel construction for long-term use
• Dishwasher-safe body—wipe or hand-wash detachable handle only
• Durable welds and reinforced frame reduce warping over time

Who is this for? Grillers who feed groups, weekend campers, home cooks who want consistent results, and anyone gifting a practical barbecue tool will appreciate the RTT Extra Large Grill Basket. It’s especially useful for families, tailgaters, and outdoor cooks who need a reliable, roomy rack that minimizes food loss during flips and fits under a closed grill lid when the handle is removed.
