Rain Bird Rotary Nozzle R-VAN1724 17–24 ft (10-pack) — adjustable arc, low-rate rotary streams

Rain Bird R-VAN1724 Rotary Nozzle (10-pack) is an adjustable rotating sprinkler nozzle designed to deliver low-rate, visually appealing streams across a 17 to 24 foot radius with a 45° to 270° arc for efficient landscape watering.

These Rain Bird RN-series rotating nozzles replace standard fixed-spray heads and create multiple gentle streams that rotate slowly across the lawn, helping water penetrate soil more evenly. Sold as a pack of ten, the R-VAN1724 fits common pop-up bodies and offers tool-adjustable arc and radius so you can fine-tune coverage for irregularly shaped turf, beds, and slopes.

How does the R-VAN1724 improve water distribution?

The rotating streams from the R-VAN1724 apply water at a lower precipitation rate than traditional spray nozzles, reducing runoff on slopes and compacted soils. Its steady rotation spreads water across the target area and allows more time for absorption between passes.

• Low precipitation streams reduce runoff and pooling
• Rotating motion gives uniform coverage across the arc
• Adjustable radius lets you match throw to site conditions

What adjustments can be made to fit my yard?

You can change both arc and radius without swapping nozzles. The R-VAN1724 offers a 45°–270° arc adjustment and a 17'–24' radius range, so one model can serve corner, side, and mid-lawn positions.

• Arc adjustable from 45° up to 270° for partial or wide sectors
• Radius adjustable from 17 to 24 feet to control throw distance
• Tool-accessible adjustments allow in-place tuning

Will these nozzles fit my existing sprinkler heads?

The R-VAN1724 is built to replace many standard spray nozzles and installs into compatible pop-up bodies. Check thread and inlet compatibility with your Rain Bird or industry-standard bodies before purchase to ensure a correct fit.

• Designed for common pop-up sprinkler bodies used in residential systems
• Simple drop-in replacement for many fixed-spray nozzles
• Sold in a 10-pack for multiple-head upgrades or larger zones

Who is this for?

The Rain Bird R-VAN1724 (10-pack) is ideal for homeowners, landscapers, and property managers wanting to upgrade spray heads to low-rate rotary nozzles for better absorption, reduced runoff, and improved uniformity across varied yard layouts. Choose this pack if you need several replacements or are converting multiple zones from fixed sprays to rotary nozzles to optimize watering efficiency and coverage.
