Rain Bird CP3504PC Professional Rain Curtain Rotor Sprinkler, 15–35 ft, Closed-Case Durability

The Rain Bird CP3504PC is a professional-grade, closed-case gear-drive rotor sprinkler with Rain Curtain nozzles that delivers uniform coverage for lawns from 15 to 35 feet.

This rotor combines a reliable gear-drive mechanism with Rain Bird’s Rain Curtain nozzle technology to provide even, wind-resistant watering across residential and light-commercial landscapes. Built for durability, the CP3504PC features a protected design, self-aligning nozzles, and simple on-site adjustments so you can tailor output and arc without changing parts. It ships with six matched nozzles and a preinstalled 3.0 GPM tip, and supports common residential pressures to match many existing irrigation systems.

How do I set the watering arc and check it while the sprinkler runs?

The CP3504PC lets you change the arc from 40° up to 360° part-circle and switch to reversing full-circle operation without replacing internal parts. A factory preset arc simplifies installation, and a quick-check/fast-forward feature lets you verify or tweak the arc while the rotor is operating.

• Adjustable arc: 40°–360° part-circle
• Reversible full-circle capability for 360° coverage
• Quick-check/fast-forward lets you confirm arc during operation
• Factory preset 180° arc for faster setup

What nozzle and radius options can I use to match my system?

The rotor includes a six-tip nozzle tree with Rain Curtain nozzles ranging from 0.75 to 4.0 GPM, allowing you to match precipitation rates and water pressure at each head. Radius can be reduced up to 35% with the radius adjustment screw without swapping nozzles, giving flexibility to dial in pattern and flow.

• Nozzle set: .75, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 GPM
• Preinstalled 3.0 GPM nozzle for common conditions
• Radius adjustment screw allows up to 35% reduction
• Operates efficiently at 25–55 psi residential pressures

Why choose Rain Curtain nozzle technology and a closed-case rotor?

Rain Curtain nozzles form large, rotating droplets that fall reliably where placed, which reduces wind drift and minimizes overspray onto sidewalks and structures. The closed-case rotor design protects internal gears and seals from debris, sand and aggressive turf, extending service life and reducing maintenance needs.

• Large droplet pattern resists windblown overspray
• Micro-ramps wet close-in areas to avoid brown rings
• Closed-case housing shields gears and seals from grit
• Self-adjusting stator and removable filter screen simplify upkeep

How durable and serviceable is the CP3504PC for long-term use?

Designed for dependable operation, the CP3504PC uses water-lubricated gears, heavy-duty rubber-encased cover, dual-action wiper seal and robust O-rings to protect internals in gritty water and tough turf conditions. Routine maintenance is straightforward thanks to an easily removable filter screen and nozzles that can be taken out for cleaning or swapping.

• Water-lubricated gear drive for long life
• 4" pop-up height clears taller grass
• Dual-action wiper seal prevents debris entry and ensures pop-up
• Removable filter and nozzle removal feature for easy servicing

Who is this for: The Rain Bird CP3504PC is aimed at homeowners, landscapers and light-commercial installers who want a resilient, adjustable rotor that balances water efficiency and uniform coverage. It’s well suited for medium to large lawns, irrigation zones with variable pressures, or sites where wind and overspray are concerns and a rugged, low-maintenance head is preferred.
