Will this carburetor fit my Husqvarna Hu775H or Hu775L mower?

This Pro Chaser carburetor is built to match the OEM fitment and mounting points for Husqvarna Hu775H models with part numbers 961450007 and 961450010, and compatible Hu775L variants. Check the part numbers on your existing carburetor and confirm throttle and choke linkage orientations before purchase.

• Direct replacement for part numbers 961450007, 961450010
• Compatible with Hu775H and Hu775L mower configurations
• Same mounting bolt pattern and fuel inlet placement
• Designed for carburetor-style small gasoline engines on walk-behind mowers

What comes in the package and why each item matters?

The kit ships with the carburetor plus a selection of service parts so you can perform a near-complete fuel-system refresh during installation. Consumables like gaskets, hoses, and filters frequently fail with age, so replacing them at the same time reduces the chance of repeat disassembly.

• 1 carburetor – main replacement unit
• 1 shut-off valve – controls fuel flow for safe storage
• 1 spark plug – ensures easier starting after service
• 1 seal ring and 2 gaskets – prevent air and fuel leaks
• 1 fuel hose and 2 clamps – secure, leak-free connections
• 1 air filter and 2 fuel filters – protect the carburetor and engine from debris

How hard is it to install and what tools are needed?

Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic small-engine maintenance. Typical steps include draining fuel, removing the air cleaner assembly, swapping the carburetor and gaskets, reconnecting linkages and fuel lines, and verifying adjustments. Allow about 45–90 minutes for first-time replacement.

• Tools: socket set, screwdrivers, pliers, small adjustable wrench
• Common tasks: remove airbox, unbolt old carburetor, transfer throttle/choke linkages
• Tip: use the new gaskets and clamps supplied to ensure an airtight seal
• Test: run mower and check for smooth idle and no fuel leaks

How will installing this part improve mower performance?

Replacing a worn or clogged carburetor restores correct fuel/air mixing, which improves starting, reduces stalling, and smooths idle. The included filters and hose minimize future contamination and leaks, helping the engine run more consistently across workloads.

• Smoother cold and hot starts with fresh spark plug and fuel delivery
• Improved idle stability and reduced stalling
• Lower likelihood of fuel leaks due to new seals and clamps
• Extended life of engine components with clean fuel and air filtration

Who is this for: This Pro Chaser Hu775H carburetor kit is ideal for DIY homeowners, lawn care technicians, and small-engine repair shops maintaining Husqvarna Hu775H or Hu775L mowers. Choose this kit if you suspect carburetor failure, experience rough idling, hard starts, or fuel leakage, and want a single-purchase solution that includes the most commonly replaced consumables.
