PoolLeader Flamingo Solar Pool Thermometer — Pink Floating IP68 Waterproof with Auto Backlight

The PoolLeader Flamingo Solar-Powered Pool Thermometer is a floating, solar-charged temperature gauge with an automatic night backlight and IP68 waterproofing for reliable pool, spa, and hot tub monitoring.

This whimsical flamingo-shaped thermometer combines practical temperature sensing with a decorative accent for your pool area. Built to run on sunlight, it stores energy to display temperatures around the clock and lights up in low-light conditions so you can read water temperature at night. The robust ABS shell and fully submersible design resist sun and water exposure, while a handy tether prevents loss and keeps the device where you can reach it.

How does the solar charging and auto backlight work?

The unit converts sunlight into electrical energy via an integrated solar cell, storing power to operate continuously. When ambient light falls below a set level, the thermometer turns on its backlight automatically, making the display readable in dusk or darkness without manual switching.

• Solar panel recharges during daytime use for uninterrupted operation.
• Automatic backlight activates in low light for night visibility.
• No batteries required for everyday daylight use—less maintenance.

Is the flamingo thermometer durable enough for regular pool use?

Yes — the casing is made from sturdy ABS and the product holds an IP68 rating, meaning it tolerates full submersion without water intrusion. The materials are chosen to resist long-term sun exposure so colors and performance remain consistent season after season.

• IP68 waterproofing for extended underwater use.
• ABS construction resists fading and wear from sunlight.
• Engineered for routine pool, spa, and hot tub environments.

How accurate is the temperature reading and what range does it cover?

The thermometer uses a high-sensitivity sensor to deliver fast, consistent temperature readings with a small margin of error. It covers a broad range suitable for everything from cool pools to hot tubs and cold immersion baths.

• Measures temperatures between 32°F and 158°F (0°C–70°C).
• Typical accuracy within ±1°F for dependable readings.
• Quick response to changes in water temperature for real-time feedback.

How does the anti-loss rope and mounting work?

The included cord lets you secure the flamingo to your pool edge so it won’t drift away with currents or be drawn into a skimmer. Attaching is simple and fast, and when not in use the thermometer can be hung for tidy storage.

• Durable tether included to anchor unit to poolside.
• Quick 10-second setup—clip or tie to a fixed point.
• Easy hanging storage to keep your pool area organized.
